[At first, the only thing that appears on the screen is a vibrant blue parrot and the arm it's perched on in front of the pet cafe. It flaps around a bit and makes some noise, but for a few minutes that's all there is; no speaking or human face and the only thing that indicates there might be a person is that small glimpse of arm at the bottom of the screen.

And then that few minutes is up and the person behind the bird moves the camera to reveal Tamaki Suoh, self-proclaimed king of the Host Club. He's smiling, of course, and is just generally overflowing with excitement.]

Look! Look everyone! Isn't he beautiful? I hadn't expected to walk out with a pet when I went to the pet shop today, but when I saw him I simply couldn't just leave him there! Ah, I wonder what I should name him... His name must be as majestic and beautiful as he is... Perhaps Kyouya will have some suggestion on what his name should be. Or if anyone else has an idea I would love to hear it! I'm sure they're all wonderful ideas!

I can't wait to bring him everywhere with me! I'd been so alone without Antoinette it's a wonder that I had survived so long without a pet until now. [Becomes slightly serious here, but not very serious.] I suppose I'll have to go to the library to find books about taking care of parrots. Antoinette was a dog so taking care of this little guy won't be the same as taking care of her and I won't have the servants to help me... No matter, I'm sure the others would be more than happy to assist me!

Ah, this is marvelous! I'm so excited to have pet here now! Pets make everything so much better! You can speak to them and play with them and they'll never complain or ignore you! [This would probably the the perfect place for anyone to tune Tamaki out if that hasn't been done already. At this point he's just going to be making unintelligible noises for no other reason than a lack of words to express his excitement.]

[The call had been rather unexpected. But he had told Karen at prom that he had no intention of ever just leaving Kamui alone, so she must have felt the need to act. It was kind of funny, really. She had to have known she wasn't nearly strong enough to fight against him, the other "Kamui", but she had been determined. Besides, Fuuma was bored enough that he wasn't going to turn down a fight, if she was offering.]

[It was three minutes after Karen had raised her kekkai that the barrier started to dissolve. Kamui would probably show up shortly, since he could feel the barriers being raised and breaking, but no matter. As for the Defense Force, well... who knew if they would show up or not.]

[They had ended up in a street, where the pink haired woman was slumped against a building, out cold. Fuuma had previously thrown her against said building hard enough to cause a decent sized crater to form there, but thanks to the kekkai, the damage seemed to have been kept out of this existence. Now all that was left was the tall teenager walking over to the woman's collapsed figure. She had a few visible cuts and scrapes, but it was likely something was broken. Fuuma hadn't made it out scot-free this time though. Both of his hands and forearms looked to be badly burned and the bottom half of his badass long coat was gone. He didn't looked pained at all, just contemplative of what he should do. She was a Dragon of Heaven and he would likely have killed her in Tokyo, but here...]


((OOC: Okay, reworked this post a bit in light of Val being a good student and having to drop some characters. Karen won't be replying to anything, as she is KO'd, and will be disappearing after being taken to the hospital and what not. [Prom night. The perfect time for bad decisions, right?

Shortly after her confrontation with Cross, Kitty finds herself storming back into the tent, right through the "wall" of course. If Cross already thinks she's guilty of something when she's been doing her best then why bother? There are still reasons, but they feel muted and as intangible as she can be right now. She's angry at him. At herself. And hurt and she just wants to push it all away.

So when she spots tall, dark, and noah and marches up to him before leaning in to whisper] Follow. [And then she's making her way away from the other party goers and her date for that matter. Sorry, Charles.]
