[Kamui honestly hadn't expected to find a beach inside the prison. It's a surprise, but not really an unpleasant one. Growing up in Okinawa means that beaches are a familiar sight to Kamui, even if he doesn't seem to be in any hurry to go swimming -- he's still fully-clothed, shoes and all.]

[Instead he stands on the shore, several feet away from the water line, and watches the waves come and go while the dolphins frolic about. It's a pleasant sight but it doesn't quite manage to put a smile on his face. Still, he looks calm and relaxed for once, his expression that of a teenager that's simply spacing out instead of losing himself in thought.]

[ Today wasn't hard, really. Yesterday was the hard day, adjusting to having Elysia around one more time when he'd finally just begun to try to accept the fact he'd never get that chance. And now she was gone, just like that. Missing her still felt guilty, somehow.

He nudges a bar napkin along wood grain with his glass-- the second so far tonight, slow sips of whiskey to try and ease himself back into a happy place. ]

[Day 77: PM's picnic with Ribbons was a success, so now she sets out on her vastly-improved route. The parcel mistress has been working very hard indeed, in light of recent events. And ideas to promote more usage of the service, to boot! But those come later. For now...]

[Soubi had spent most of the day locked in his room. Had it not been for his responsibility to the art class...he never would have left. But he can't stay there any longer.

He finds himself wandering, avoiding any person he sees and sticking to less trafficked areas. He can't bring himself to care. He could stay in an alley all night and it would suit him.
