"I can't help it!" he yells, his eyes wild because he really doesn't like being out of control like this, and those wasps are getting closer. "I got stung, okay? By some of those!"

He points, as a couple of the massive wasps round the corner and start heading for them. He fires off a shot - his last precious bullet - and one drops, but the other keeps on coming. He looks around desperately. "We need to get inside. I'm out of ammo."

Leia despises not being in control of herself, of having her emotions toyed with like this. Fear is something she feels almost constantly, but it's something she's good at keeping in check and molding into things like anger and determination. Being afraid and incapable of being anything but is infuriating and upsetting on levels she's incapable of handling properly on a day like today.

But at least whatever's messing with her now isn't affecting her connection to the Force, for she's easily able to throw her hands out and send the wasps Jack was unable to hit with his bullets flying back. They slam into one of the buildings, but the shove only stuns them.

She reaches for him, grabbing hold of his wrist. "Come on!"

He watches wide-eyed as some invisible force slams the wasps back against the wall. He's never seen the Force being used and it's - well, compared to his gun (now sadly completely out of bullets), it's awesome. He resists Leia's tugging for a moment, still mesmerised; then one of the wasps starts twitching again and he turns and runs along with her.

"That was fantastic, what you did there! What was it?"

"Telekinesis," she shouts back over her shoulder, never breaking her hurried stride.

Sort of, anyway. This wasn't the time or place to get into what the Force was, and she'd learned it was easier to just lay claim to telekinesis, telepathy, and other talents the people here were already familiar with than to try and explain something she didn't fully understand herself. Maybe if Luke were still here, he'd be able to explain it better, but all Leia knows is what instinct tells her and what little she's learned from Reid's Star Wars knowledge.

There's a building up ahead, and Leia veers right to head towards it.

"Lucky talent to have," he mutters, wishing (not for the first time) that he had a talent that didn't just involve being able to get up again after dying. Telekinesis would be a hell of a lot more useful, in the circumstances.

Earlier in the day, he was too fired up to want to run and hide from the wasps, but by this point he's got nothing left to fight them with and the general aura of fear and dread that's around means he's actually fairly happy to run away from them. He follows Leia into the building and gets the door closed them just in time for the lead wasp to slam into it.

"Phew, that was close!" he breathes, panting, and glances around. Turns out the building is the media store. Not exactly a great source of anti-wasp weapons, but at least it's indoors.

"It's anything but lucky," Leia remarks bitterly, more down on her abilities than she has been in recent weeks with her fear spiking involuntarily, reminding her of how terrified she is of becoming just like her father.

The wasps slam against the door and the outer walls, but thankfully, the structure seems sound enough. Doesn't stop them from buzzing around outside, and even without the hum of their wings, Leia would be able to feel them hovering nearby. She makes a point to keep her senses trained on them, just in case. She's too paranoid at this point to not.

	He gives her a sharp look, her aura of fear rubbing off a little on him. "How come?" He watches her, curious about how her "telekinsis" works, aware that she's focussing on the wasps and vaguely worried that she might turn such a power on him. "What's unlucky about it?" Leia doesn't mean to project, but it happens. Emotional influence is a Jedi talent, one Leia is well aware of, but doesn't quite have under control yet. And right now, control is a difficult thing to come by.

"Bad blood," she says simply, truthfully. "It's an inherited trait, and the person I got it from didn't exactly use his powers for good."
