He gets up after that. Too quickly, though, as he suddenly feels light-headed again. Apparently he's still not fully recovered (figures, though; it's only been a handful of minutes.) Still, he continues anyway and makes his way behind the main counter.]

To prove he's okay, he continues on in the kitchen peeking in cupboards and drawers before moving to the fridge. Granted, he's moving a little slow, but he seems okay, otherwise.]

Well, there's plenty of snack foods. [Chips, cookies, various drinks.] The fridge and freezer are still somewhat cold.

[He opens the fridge again to take a better look, pausing to glance over again- ]

See if there's any bread around.

[Kazuki rummages through the bins and comes up with a few things. An onion, celery, pickle relish, cheese, lettuce. He puts them on the counter, then checking the mustard and mayonnaise; if the power only went out today, they shouldn't have gone bad. After, he returns to one of the cupboards and reaches up to grab two cans of salmon.]

I hope salmon is okay. . .?

[He's made salmon salad before at home, although in a different way, using leftovers of more freshly cooked salmon before. Canned shouldn't be too different. He's been learning (and experimenting) all different kinds of recipes since he arrived here, in any case.]

I like salmon.

[ He pauses and then lets out a little laugh. Their worlds are different, this place is different too, but some things were the same. He didn't think of that until now... ]

Unless the salmon I know is different from the salmon here.

[ He goes on to search the cupboards and whatnot and, eventually, finds some bread.... Rean gives it a squeeze- soft. ]

Okay. Give me a few minutes.

[Since that's probably all it'll take, his actions very fluid. Having acquired the necessary items, along with a bowl, knife, cutting board, and a fork, he gets to work. Soon enough there's a mixture with the salmon, diced vegetables, condiments, and the like, within the bowl. It's spread between two slices of bread, along with a piece of lettuce and tomato.

Setting it on a plate he took out earlier, he offers one sandwich over to Rean.]

Here. [a nod towards the pantry] There's some chips and more drinks, if you wanted any, as well.

[ Rean is rather perceptive and obviously thinks his skills doesn't seem like it'd be a product of "several years of working at a cafe. But it's a small thing and nothing to nitpick about so he lets it lie. It's not like he's secretly a masked thief or something big like that.

He frowns, on instinct, when he remembers a certain other person with a hidden identity. ]

Playing sports, maybe starting some kind of club, or engaging in any hobbies; taking classes at the education center, too, or finding somewhere to work at. I think there's a lot of ways.
