Peter has a little bit of fun on the way, skittering up walls and trying to lose Spike for the kick of it. It's a lot like Venom in a way, only less tongue (to a degree) and at least he can sense Spike moving around. He goes straight for his window in the dark, like a good little spider quick to find the suit.
