Thank you. [ Totally taking that as a compliment. ] It's a long story, but... basically, I was murdered. Back home, not here. Someone snuck up from behind and strangled me with a plastic bag and threw me off the side of a ship.

Next thing I know, I wake up in a coffin. Turns out Ned, my- ah. My childhood sweetheart got a gift of bringing dead things back to life. One touch - alive. Another - dead again, forever.

More or less. Ton said I had some water damage in my lungs but not all that much. I've talked to worse looking corpses, for sure. [ So many corpses. ]

And I don't know, I'd just like to be sure that everything is working. It's not even a big deal but I never even thought about having kids before and now maybe I can and that's driving me a little crazy, I guess. Having the possibility and not knowing if your equipment holds up for it.

... Okay. I mean. I get it, I guess. I'm not exactly an expert on the conception side of things-- I usually deliver the babies-- but you're not the first woman to be in this position, y'know. It's pretty normal to wonder.

You're asking the right guy, don't get me wrong. But I don't know what you want - me to tell you all the medical crap and arrange something or tell you what I know personally. Even if you can have kids, doesn't mean you can... Perfectly healthy, never-dead... Well okay, she freakin' died once but I'm using her as an example anyway - struggle to have kids for years. Sometimes they don't get to, naturally. But there's invitro, there's adoption...

There's options. Even if you can't.

No, I- I know. I get it. [ But actual baby, growing in her? There's something about that, like it'd prove that she isn't dead. She's never been more full of life than after she already died and being pregnant would be such a strong fuck you to the Dead Girl. It's not important, she's fine with the idea of adoption, but at the same time it's a little important.

Uugh, this is so stupid... what I was trying to say was, there's a lot of things going on that I can't do anything about so when something like this comes along that I can do something about, I have to do it. I'm sorry if I worried you.
