[Its not quite a real kiss of course but it still makes him smile. No forcefield either, which is good. Maybe he's famed down enough or whatever controls the bands knows how much he needs that small gesture of affection.]

[It would be easier to say he'd rather it be without all the fear and unhappiness that led up to it, or that he wishes they could do more or make it a proper, real kiss. But thanking that way will just ruin the moment and right now, cuddled up in their pile of blankets and pillows feelings safe and cared about? He could never complain about a that.]

There's some plans percolating about that, involving candles and fresh sheets and maybe even wearing something other than jeans and a tee. Really can't wait to get the bands sorted but for tonight this will do. For tonight, this is perfect. ]
