Hey. Second time for me too and last I checked, you never went around biting people. [ Yeah, that probably hurt his chances a lot. He's also not really been all that social, there's hardly any kumbayah's in his arsenal. ]

Even if we're neck and neck with that, you don't drink the way I do. Pretty sure they frown on that here.

[He snuggles closer, getting a little more comfortable. Talking is good. Talking means not thinking. It makes brings start to feel normal. He doesn't know if he believes that Spike really could take on Tyki of he followed them here but he desperately hopes he can.]

We can ask them tomorrow. If you want. [He adds that second part quickly, not wanting to rush him into this. Just because he's ready for these bands to be gone doesn't mean everyone else involved necessarily is.]

[ He'd give it a damn good try, at least. Considering some of the other things he's faced off or will face off in the future, Tyki isn't the baddest among them. Definitely up there, but if he could (can? will?) survive glory he can probably survive the Noah of Pleasure.

We can talk to him tomorrow. [He should call him at some point, since he knows how frantic with worry he will be if Ianto doesn't turn up tonight. After the last time this happened he can't blame him. He wants to calm down and clean himself up a bit before he does. If he calls him looking like this Jack is going to panic. And in any case he doesn't want to move just yet.] I told him not to be a jerk about it.

[ Compared to what he usually puts up with in a relationship, this is nothing. Well, Rose was a pretty clear exception but that's the only time he's been with someone and felt like he was the one asking too much. This is familiar grounds for him, this and nothing else about this. ]

Believe it or not, but I've had messier. This is fine. [ Different, for sure, but talking it through with Rebecca helped. ] I've never been on this side of it. Dru used to show her generosity to whoever, when she was in that mood.

He's always liked that part of their friendship, the bit like this where it's so easy to talk. You'd better not. [He was still having the occasions nightmare about Tyki before this happened. He doesn't like to imagine how his attempts to sleep are going to go tonight. He stands up a little shakily, reluctantly leaving the blanket behind on the couch.

The apartment has roughly the same layout as Chuck's and he rembers where the bathroom was in hers so it isn't too hard to find. Maybe they can't touch but Spike can still look, not that he's pariculalry inclined to put on much of a show right now. He catches a glimpse of his red, tear stained face in the mirror and hurridly looks away, focusing instead on getting the shower turned on and removing the ruins of his suit.]

[ He follows closely, opting to hang out by the bathroom door while Ianto gets himself cleaned up. He knows what it's like to be around someone easily spooked and although Ianto isn't blabbering about how the sky is on fire, Spike still lingers with the sort of quiet anticipation he maintained around Dru. You never know what'll trigger something. You have to prepare for anything.

As for sleep, he usually doesn't get any until closer to sunup. Some habits die hard and in this case, maybe that's a good thing. He can keep watch. ]

Should get you some clean clothes in the morning.

I'll figure it out then. [That is one thing in this building he will not be thinking of Chuck for, thanks. He's seen what her husband wears and that is not happening.]

Anyway you're the one covered in blood. [He points out, stepping into the shower and gasping a bit at the hot water. After the chill he's felt since the first time he spotted Tyki stepping out of the shadows it feels almost scalding. Mostly though it's just nice to be able to scrub his face clean, try to erase all evidence of what that encounter reduced him to. He leaves the shower door partially open, both the make the conversation and the view easier.]

Yeah, but that's expected, coming from me.

[ Point taken, though. He takes a moment to peel off the t-shirt, nose wrinkling at how it sticks to his skin. Black cotton should be easy enough to rinse out in the sink and that's enough to get him home tomorrow. ]

Take your time. I'll rinse off when you're done. [ As tempting as that shower looks right now, he'd rather not be plastered against the wall of it when the bands kick in. ]

[Any other day the idea of trying to shower without touching would seem like a very tantalizing game to play but he's not up to it at the moment. The water feels good, makes him feel a little more human and awake, not so fuzzy with fear. How long as it been since the encounter and nothing has happened yet? They must be safe for the moment. Or at least he hopes they are.]

Do you really think we're safe right now? That he won't come back tonight?

He was here. I'm sure he was. [He sounds so insistent at first but a note of hesitation creeps into his tone towards the end. He tries to think back objectively, without letting the fear influence his memories because now that he thinks about it he's fairly sure there was something off about him. Something wrong with his voice, especially. And there was something he read about last time this happened, that he can't quite put his finger on.

He steps out of the shower, leaving the water running for Spike while still wearing that look of concentration, like he's close to putting all the pieces together.]

[ Well, since Ianto is occupied with examining his grasp on reality Spike will just strip down the rest of the way and grab a quick shower. Emphasis on quick — he'll stay in there long enough to scrub the blood off him, hissing softly at how the water stings in the gash on his arm, but this isn't for pleasure.

Ah, fuck. His hair is going to go all curly, isn't it. No hair gel in this apartment. ]

We got any towels here?

[The curls will come as no surprise; he's already seen them on Captain John Hart, and he knows better than to say he thinks they're kind of cute. He passes over a towel, still looking thoughtful.]

The last time this happened multiple people reported running into something besides just the raptors. They said there was some sort of shape shifting creature out, something that looked like a persons fears. I read about it; Reid interviewed a few of them about their encounters.

	I don't know. [Ianto admits, helping to get some of the blood off but using the towel to keep from actually touching.
