Yeah. Lots of people. Though most of them it was because they were hurting others and needed to be stopped, not because I wanted to. [He tilts his head.] Though I guess there have been a few I really enoyed killing. Some people just really deserve it, you know?

[Okay, not really helping here, is he?] When I said I have urges, I meant mostly sexual ones. Sex is what gets me going, and what I find it hard to give up.

[Well, Jack does have a tendency to come at such things from a very different angle to other people, partly because of the time in which he was born, partly because of his own particular leanings.

He nods.] When I have sex, I do tend to enjoy a certain element of power exchange to it. It spices things up, adds an extra thrill. And being scared does tend to turn me on. But if I'm with someone who's not into that, I can still have a fabulous time. With Ianto, for instance - when I discovered that here I could only fuck him if I fucked only him, I was worried that I'd miss the more intense D/s element, because he's nowhere near as kinky in that respect as I am. [Well, who is?] But when it came down to it, it wasn't as important as being with him. Being with him made up for it.

Perhaps you could learn to foster a liking for normal sex without wanting to hurt your partner?
