Day 331 (strange relations) / Open Video / Picnic Mingle
[Have Euphie's smiling face on the screen. Kanji and I would like to invite you all to a picnic today! Of course we want to see all our family there, but friends and soon-to-be friends too. [That means strangers.]

You don't have to worry about bringing anything, but if you'd like to bring something extra to share or a game that would be fun or even just an extra blanket just in case that would always be welcome.

We'll be in Trois Park near the koi pond and fountain at noon today.

[There will already be some blankets laid out and pink picnic baskets with a variety of food—many of which have been prepared in extra cute ways like rice balls shaped like cats. You probably think this was mostly Euphie's doing, but it was mostly that boyfriend of hers, Kanji.]

Well, let's say that Neil's keeping an eye out for anything suspicious and threatening. There won't be any suicide bombers to threaten those he loves today. It won't happen, never again. ]

Hey, Charlotte!

[ Well, some people had their parents and baby sister blown up at a nice sunny family outing, so. Can't blame them for being antsy.

Though Neil's grin is wide and real, and he crouches down to greet the puppy, holding his hand out. And maybe he's avoiding looking at her a little bit, but he has an excuse, right? No blush hiding or anything like that. ]

If he were a little different sort of person, he might ask her why she doesn't pair up with Phanan, but it's none of his business, and he's not that kind of mean. He might even say that it's not fair of her to ask him things like that, but, no. He won't.

Instead, he lets his mouth stretch into an embarrassed smile. ]

I don't think you'll have any trouble finding a partner, either of you. And next time, I'll let Conrart set things up and I'll be available, promise. It's my thought that I didn't think this part through.
