250 - Fear Itself Mingle
[ Today is a day where most would be at risk of oversleeping.The dome lies dark like in the dead of night. The sun hasn’t risen today, streetlights casting a dull yellow glow and occasionally flickering out into nothing, only to spark back to life a moment later. There is no electric flicker from the kiosk. The Wardens are still. The wardens are silent.

The dome isn’t silent. There is a rustling of leaves, a snapping of twigs. Claws, scraping against concrete. The inhuman screech of an animal in peril, an animal hunting, an animal hunted. A screech that promises sharp claws and sharper teeth and blood.

The dome isn’t still either. There is something moving, thick as a shadow, tangible as a chill down your spine. Something that doesn’t belong here, something that snuck in when no one was looking. A boogeyman under the bed. A ghost in the closet. A will o’ the wisp, blinking in and out of existence under the flickering streetlights. Whatever it is it’s moving, leaving a trail of cold, dead fear wherever it passes. Something dark. A shadow so pitch black that it blots out the very lights in your heart, dragging your fears out screaming and kicking, reducing even the strongest, toughest man to a blubbering baby.

Perhaps best to stay in bed today, Marina. ]

	Sure. [It was a steakhouse. They had meat. She finished prepping for two sandwiches, got some good melty types of cheese (it had to be a little fancy, okay?) and put bacon on both and tomato slices on one. I don't overwater as much anymore... at least, not as much as I used to. 	It's more that I just overwater when I have something on my mind, and it just water them on autopilot. I think it helps that I don't have the garden actually in my place of residence at the moment. I'm glad you like it. [She had always wanted to make that kind of food for a child. And she knew she would have a daughter. Phoebe had foreseen it. But, the past year of her marriage had resulted in no pregnancy whatsoever, and it was disappointing. She smiled a little sadly.]

	No. I have- had two sisters and a half-sister. [That came out weird.] I mean, I had an older sister, but she died about a year ago now, I guess. Phoebe is my younger sister, and then we have Paige, who is our half-sister and younger than Phoebe. And I'm married. Leo and I have been together since a little before Prue died. It hasn't been easy, but we're dealing with it as best we can, I guess. It was hard enough, but then finding out we had another sister at the funeral was even weirder, to be honest. It kind of all hit at once.

[Especially while still figuring out a new power that was highly dangerous... how she got through that without accidentally exploding anyone was a miracle.]

But, yeah. Right now, the biggest thing is getting back to Leo and the sisters I have.

[She absently fingered the wedding band on her finger.]

	Good idea. [She took her now empty plate, and would take his as well if it was empty (though not if he was still eating!), and headed into the back. She didn't have any portable bottles or to-go cups, in case he wanted to take some with him, so a regular glass would have to do for now. She came back.] Here you go. 	Ain't that th' truth... my mom always used t' say that th' kitchen is th' heart of the home.
