Evening 241 } Action } Open Mingle
[ As mentioned by the wardens yesterday, Eric is hosting a costume party. The Blood Shack is lit by candles for the evening (he remembers the last party he had being interrupted by a power outage) and a small buffet of sorts has been erected. It furnishes mostly hors d'oeuvre and finer foods, things that Caroline picked out as Eric hasn't a clue about human food.

There is blood on tap (naturally) as well as a full bar. Eric has made certain to include water, sodas, tea and various non-alcoholic drinks.

The jukebox is playing a variety of music, but patrons are always invited to pick out their own music. The dance floor has a disco ball and there's the ever present 'dancing' pole on stage if someone gets brave. Tables are scattered about as are sofas and chairs so that people have a choice where they sit.

Enjoy yourself, mix, mingle and admire everyone's costume and everyone is required to have a costume in order to be here. ]

[Eric is dressed like this. HIs hair is growing longer and he's slicked it back rather messily. He's sporting more stubble than usual and he's got a blond, fake beard hanging around his neck that he clearly grew tired of wearing within the first seconds of the costume. He's also got a crown on his head that's been fashioned from gold foil to look a bit like this one. He's also wearing a fake sword at his hip. He can be found circulating the room, working behind the bar or sitting on the throne that occupies one corner of the stage.

[ sometime during the event, liz turns up, looking more than a little uncomfortable in her get-up. it would be an accurate guess to say she didn't choose this outfit, but it was definitely better than the alternatives. she may or may not be trying to hide, too.

she does, however, make her way up to eric wherever he ends up being and gives him a very tight but genuine smile. ]

Got any more surprises up your sleeve? [ drinks, she means, but anything else counts. ]

[ Eric smirks a little when he sees Liz coming. It's almost a smile from him. He takes in her costume and nods a bit. ]

I believe I've got something that might make I Dream of Jeannie a little more tolerable. [ He whips up a pomegranate martini that might have a bit more of a kick than the last drink he made her. He figures she needs it tonight. ]

You wear it very well though.

	[ smile, half-smile, whatever it is, liz will take it as a positive reaction. she raises her eyebrows at the drink, but smiles all the same and takes a sip. it does have more of a kick than she was expecting. she doesn't mind it, though. definitely what she needed at the moment. ] Guess who helped me pick it out? 	Eric chuckles a little at the question. "Undead isn't, obviously, dead. My hair grows, my beard grows and I have to clip my fingernails on a semi regular basis now that I don't have Pam to give me manicures." He misses Pam's manicures, and her hair treatments. 	Is it actually a costume if it's true?
