Evening 241 } Action } Open Mingle
[ As mentioned by the wardens yesterday, Eric is hosting a costume party. The Blood Shack is lit by candles for the evening (he remembers the last party he had being interrupted by a power outage) and a small buffet of sorts has been erected. It furnishes mostly hors d'oeuvre and finer foods, things that Caroline picked out as Eric hasn't a clue about human food.

There is blood on tap (naturally) as well as a full bar. Eric has made certain to include water, sodas, tea and various non-alcoholic drinks.

The jukebox is playing a variety of music, but patrons are always invited to pick out their own music. The dance floor has a disco ball and there's the ever present 'dancing' pole on stage if someone gets brave. Tables are scattered about as are sofas and chairs so that people have a choice where they sit.

Enjoy yourself, mix, mingle and admire everyone's costume and everyone is required to have a costume in order to be here. ]

Ah. He gives Eric a droll look. "I guess they're not so keen on you making new vampires here, eh?"

Then he looks thoughtful. "Plenty of people here who're already vampires, though. Surely you could train up one or two of those gorgeous girls to do your nails for you?"

Totally teasing. He gets that there's more to it than just doing his nails, just as there's more to Ianto than just the fantastic coffee.

"Actually, as long as I don't hurt anyone, I don't think I'd be breaking any of their rules." He's pondered it, but there's no one human here he likes well enough to turn them.

He smirks at that. He's adopted a few vampires including Caroline and Jessica, but Jack is right. It's not the same. "Actually, I need to discuss my highlights with Caroline." He's fairly certain she'd know about those things.

	"Not the way I do it." Yeah, he's putting some innuendo and sexuality into those words. It's true though. He glamors someone to think the bite is orgasmic. It may be all in their head, but they'll never realize that. Eric smirks dryly at that. "I'm blond naturally, but I haven't seen the sun in a thousand years. It gets a bit darker as time goes on." Jack gives him a long, appraising look, and though the look is cool, Eric will probably be able to sense his pulse rate going up behind it. “Is that so?” he drawls, and cocks his head with interest. “Care to explain that to me? I mean, not that I mind a little pain, in the right circumstances, but neither of the times I’ve got bitten so far fell into that category.”

Completely abandoning the hair conversation, but this is far more interesting.

	Oh he can hear Jack's pulse rate pick up. Eric smirks knowingly and leans over, his elbows on his knees, bringing himself closer to Jack. Jack swallows at that leer, realises just how interested he's looking, and pulls himself together, giving Eric another long look, a smirk on his own lips now. "Sweetheart, as long as I know what I'm going into beforehand, I rarely regret it afterwards! And I have clearly been - interacting - with the wrong vampires."

Not that he has any intention of asking Eric to bite him either. Not tonight, at least.
