I'll be honest, there's a RL situation that's keeping me away this month so far. I hope a few of you are taking on the challenge of commenting to all the daily posters. I will be, just on the late side.

I believe we're having a writing exchange here soon....a Remix? Yes, that's what it was. If you're interested, you might want to gather up links to your creative pursuits and post them on your journals, or else update your web sites or other ways of archiving your work. Hey all!

I've been scarce around these parts, but not due to any lack of love for the good ship Snupin! My entry for Snupin Showers harkens back to some fun that has been had over the last many years. That's right, it is the return of Candid Captions!! If you do not know about Candid Captions, use the tag or link to view (and add to) any of the past Candid Captions posts this community has so lovingly parodied.

The rules remain the same. Look at the picture under the cut tag and then write a Snupin-y themed caption for it. Please keep your captions Lupin/Snape-focused. You can also use the cut-tag as inspiration, if you need it. Crack away!

Disclaimer: I do not own the characters, just the situation in which I'm placing them. Also, the title and cut text comes from the lyrics of "You Don't Understand Me," by the Raconteurs.
Summary: Severus did not expect Remus Lupin to pull him suddenly into a dark closet and start shyly touching his face. He knew he should leave said closet, because nothing good could come of it. Unfortunately, teenage hormones don't listen to reason.
Note: Takes place while they're still attending school, after the Shack Incident. I'll say seventh year. Because I like them as legal as possible.

Snupin Showers is coming to the lupin_snape communities this April.

We still need people to sign up for days, so please visit either the LiveJournal or InsaneJournal posts to claim a day to make Snupin-y in your own special way. I'm still hoping we'll get 30 different people signed up before Thursday.

If you've been away from the community for a while, April would be a good month to peek back in. It also would be a great month to get involved again, if only for one day, and it would be wonderful to see some of you over here again!

We need 11 more people to make our 30 people for 30 days; we can do it, right? Go Team Snupin! ♥

A long time ago, the Lupin_Snape community on LJ not only was created in April, but its first popular challenge also took place in that month: April Showers. This April, I'd like to see us celebrate by having new content every day of the month. And we'll call this challenge....

~*~*~*~ Snupin Showers! ~*~*~*~

Here's what we're looking for - One person in charge of posting Lupin/Snape content on one assigned day in April. I'm hoping we can get 30 different people to take part in this challenge, so be sure to spread the word far and wide or consider what you can do yourself.

Content you can offer: Discussion topics (retreads fine!), essays, icons, recs, photos, photomanips, sketches, drabbles, ficlets, stories, full-blown art, link lists, craft projects, comparisons (what else reminds you of Snape/Lupin?), and then any other Snupiny post of which you can possibly imagine.

Rules of a sort: One post on the day is fine; more is also fine if you're that inspired. Post sometime in the 24 hours on your day, no worries if you're in an odd timezone. Others may post at any time during the month; you don't have to hold back just because it's not your day. I'll send reminders each week to the people signed up for that week.

Sound good? I'll be maintaining the sign-up list below the cut. First come, first served!
