"Your grandmother?" Remus paled. "Severus - "
"I told you, she's learned her lesson." Severus awkwardly cast a muffliato. "She lost Mum and she nearly lost me. I know she's always supported pureblood policies, but it's different." He pulled Remus into another long, thorough kiss, oblivious to the gasps from the kitchen.
"I'm not ashamed any more, Remus. I'm not bitter. Growing up, even if only for a little while, with someone who was kind to me - "
"Has made all the difference." Remus rose, holding out his hand. "Shall we? I'll need to ask Andromeda to watch Teddy."
