Andromeda lived in a charming Victorian row house that had once been used in a Muggle film. He stared at the neatly kept planting tubs flanking the front door - did he really want to do this? - before banging the knocker.
"Yes?" Andromeda opened the door. "If you're collecting for the Scouts - "
"Andromeda." He stepped inside before she could move. "It's Severus - yes, I know, I'll explain later. Where is Remus Lupin?"
She took a deep, steadying breath. "He's at Zivotosky's grocery buying nappies for Teddy."
Severus swallowed the taste of fear. "I'll wait."
