Polyjuice tasted worse than Wolfsbane. The texture was lumpy and thick and slightly sharp when he swallowed the hair.

A moment later he stared at the unfamiliar face in the mirror. "Severus?"

The same face appeared beside him. "What?"

"You're taller than I thought you were."

Severus snorted. "Don't be so obvious. Narcissa isn't stupid."

"I'm well aware of that." Remus scowled. "I still can't believe Andromeda - "

"She's a Black." Severus handed him a flask. "Go retrieve your son."

Remus tucked it in his robes. "Thank you."

"You're welcome." Severus paused. "Happy birthday."

"I hope so," said Remus.
