"Really, Severus. Your own detentions are - " Lupin was even more annoying when he laughed. " - legendary. Allow me to discipline the students as I see fit."
"The same way you disciplined your friends during those halcyon days when you were a prefect?" Snape slammed his palms on Lupin's desk and glared. "You still don't have a spine, and neither will Potter. He needs to be tempered, not coddled!"
