The Professors had locked off the Great Hall right after lunch, the only people allowed in were the social committee. The girls spent the better part of the day missing classes and setting up for the ball.

Some tables were set up around the walls.

It didn't take long for everything to be in order. The girls spent the last few moments putting the touches on the food and drinks.

About an hour before the ball was to start the girls were finally done. It was a beautiful sight with ghosts everywhere, there was a stage where the two most popular bands were going to be playing. It was by far one of the more elegant balls in the past few years.

When the doors opened to allow the students in a low growl was heard before the first band took the stag in an uproar.

Once the place was crowded an announcement was made.... "Morning classes will be canceled tomorrow!"

Tyler was beginning to like his costume. He liked the cape, but wasn't crazy about the fake abs...his abs were better than that. He was proud of his own stomach, he had worked hard to get in such great shape, so he didn't need fake abs. But his mother had sent him all of the Batman movies and some comics and he instantly found another hero. As he entered the room, kind of downhearted, his spirits rose slightly. Things with Ryleigh didn't work out. She was the only girl he ever truely liked and she broke his heart. For once he was brokenhearted and not the breaker of hearts. From a distance, he saw Gwen and a smile came to his face.

"So you went with the Dorothy costume?" He asked in a happy tone. "Very nice, very nice." She looked spectacular.
