The Professors had locked off the Great Hall right after lunch, the only people allowed in were the social committee. The girls spent the better part of the day missing classes and setting up for the ball.

Some tables were set up around the walls.

It didn't take long for everything to be in order. The girls spent the last few moments putting the touches on the food and drinks.

About an hour before the ball was to start the girls were finally done. It was a beautiful sight with ghosts everywhere, there was a stage where the two most popular bands were going to be playing. It was by far one of the more elegant balls in the past few years.

When the doors opened to allow the students in a low growl was heard before the first band took the stag in an uproar.

Once the place was crowded an announcement was made.... "Morning classes will be canceled tomorrow!"

His eyebrow arched as she rubbed her leg against his, those images that had been plaguing his mind since he saw her in the costume informing him that they planned on being permanent until he had the opportunity to make them happen. Not that he minded, though he couldn't help but notice with a bit of frustrated amusement that he probably should've made his pants a bit looser. "I'm perfectly fine with being the only one to see what you can do in those, love."

There really wasn't too much of a dancing gene to inherit from either the Potter side or the Weasley side, but James generally got by. And dancing was really secondary right now. He was far more interested in getting as close to her as possible without being too scandalous in a room that no doubt contained family, considering his encompassed what seemed like half of the wizarding world. "Perhaps we should find out. For the sake of experiment, of course," he said very low, in her ear as he pulled her even closer to him.
