The Professors had locked off the Great Hall right after lunch, the only people allowed in were the social committee. The girls spent the better part of the day missing classes and setting up for the ball.

Some tables were set up around the walls.

It didn't take long for everything to be in order. The girls spent the last few moments putting the touches on the food and drinks.

About an hour before the ball was to start the girls were finally done. It was a beautiful sight with ghosts everywhere, there was a stage where the two most popular bands were going to be playing. It was by far one of the more elegant balls in the past few years.

When the doors opened to allow the students in a low growl was heard before the first band took the stag in an uproar.

Once the place was crowded an announcement was made.... "Morning classes will be canceled tomorrow!"

"Thank you very much. It's all the costume, really," Roger said with a laugh leaning back up again and gave Addison a wink. He offered her his arm. "Shall I escort you in, milady?" he said giving her a toothy smile.

He liked the blushing, it was very becoming on Addison's cheeks. And of course he wouldn't leave Addison there now, even if she had the worst costume ever. He was proving to her that she was dateable and that was that.

Addison just laughed. She kept it to herself that she was pretty sure it wasn't just the costume. He looked great in anything. In his school uniform, in the Quidditch robes, in dress robes or regular clothes. And she was sure he would look just as dashing with no clothes on, but that only made her blush deeper as the thought ran into her head.

Taking his arm, she grinned shyly at him. Addison Weasley, shy?! "Sure," she simply said, as they walked inside. "Everything looks great.." she mused as they walked, side by side, arm in arm, looking around. "They really did a nice job." She was trying to find small talk, a nervous trait she had.

Addy giggled again, placing her hand over her mouth. "I guess we do," she agreed with a nod. She looked around, trying to see if she could spot her sister, whom was also going as a Princess. "Well, I know you do," she let it slip, her cheeks blushing again. "It took me forever to try to do my hair and makeup.. Dora helped me.. And to get into the dress." She laughed.

"Of course we do," he said with the more confidence. He was wondering when Dante and Ana would get there. And he was briefly wondering where his sister Ashley was... if she tried anything to bug him, he'd make her pay for it.

"Thanks, love," he said grinning at the slip. "Now all that time and effort wasn't a waste because you look gorgeous, but not to take away from natural beauty either. You're always lovely."

She had to stop blushing like this, she was going to look ridiculous! "Stop it," she muttered, looking to the ground. She giggled again, brushing a curl from her face. "Thanks."

Trying to break the attention off her, she looked around. "I hope my brother doesn't come around.." If Fred did, then he'd annoy her. And probably make it awkward. And if he came near, so did his date, and Addison really didn't care for Alyssa Krum at all. "Do you want something to drink?" she asked, turning to him.

"I'm sorry, it just comes out," Roger said shaking his head. "When the truth wants to come out, it does. You're welcome," he said winking again but decided to back off a bit anyway since she was certainly blushing now.

"I'm sure he'll be kepy occupied," RJ said, trying not to show too much of a smirk. Really, the guy was dating Alyssa Krum! She would let him get to far away.

"I do! You too I'm guessing?" Roger asked about the drinks.

Addison was just nervously giggling, brushing her hair behind her ear a bit. She was glad for the subject change to getting a drink. It gave her a chance to take a breath and try to be as confident as she could be. Roger probably wouldn't appreciate it if she was just a bumbling ball of red the entire time.

"Yeah, a drink would be cool," she said, taking his arm as she led him over to the refreshment table.

	Once they got over to the refreshment table, Roger got a drink for Addison first before picking up one for himself. Taking a drink, Roger turned to look to see the other couples that were starting to head to the dance floor. "Would you care to dance with me, once your done here?" (Reply to this) (Parent)
