Who: Alec and Max
What: Probably majorly making out and maybe other things...
Where: Max is in town right now, but it could change
When: After their net conversation
Status: Closed
Most days, Max showed little to no interest in sex. Period. When she did, it was because of a certain genetic defunct that had her hopping after the opposite like sex like a puma in heat, which was not too far from the the truth. It was because of her cat-like DNA that she had that issue at all. It was the biggest annoyance ever. That time of year, Max seriously wanted to lock rope herself to her apartment and not leave again till it was over. Unfortunately, money was sort of a rare thing where they were and she had to work, around men, no less. Thankfully, she had a bike, a cold shower, and enough rational thinking people around her to keep her from doing anything too stupid. The problem was here, there was no rational thinking people, but that wasn't even the issue really because this whole thing she was feeling? It wasn't being in "heat". No, this was entirely different for one big reason: Alec.
Max didn't want just anyone on this pesky island. No, she wanted a very specific person and no one else and nothing could change her mind. He was really all she thought about every second since early this morning. She thought it was typical; dumb ass Alec needed to be watched because he couldn't do anything right ever and somehow, if she wasn't with him every second of the day, he'd fuck up something for sure, something vital. However, it wasn't her normal annoyance with him. In fact, she found finding him to be no annoyance at all, but rather blissful and fun. It would be the first time ever that she considered finding him anything, but a chore and it should have made her pause, but it didn't. Nothing did, actually. In her pursuit of the other transgenic there was nothing that could stop her, even the obvious: her dislike of him that she made so very plain and obvious every single moment of their lives.
Her first stop was searching the city, but after coming up with no Alec, she put out a call on the network, looking for him. It didn't take him long to answer either and when he did, he was strangely compliant with her request to meet right away. He questioned her motives, but she could answer truthfully: this was not her in heat because if it was, he would be one of many on her target list and he probably wouldn't have even gotten this call. She told him to "come get her" and she waited, oddly enough, in the last place they met. There was no guarantee they would stay there, but it was probably the easiest place for him to locate him and as much as she liked a chase, she really wanted him to catch her and catch her fast. Max perched at the base, arms folded on her chest, and brown eyes looking out towards the buildings. They streets were pretty full for once and it was strange...there was couples. Lots of them. Max might have questioned it if her mind and her body hadn't been telling her to focus on someone else. Despite the wait, she knew he wouldn't leave her hanging, in fact, she was sure he'd arrive any moment now.
