TIDBIT - mandie + open

July 18, 6:47 am
7M - at the creek

If she had been able to manage a few hours of sleep, she had been lucky. When she woke up for the fifth time, thanks to the strange and booming sounds of the forest, she decided that there was no point in trying anymore and decided to actually start doing something. There was no point in being idle. When she realized there was a creek nearby, she happily started to put together a fishing pole to try and catch something for breakfast.

Being away from everyone else was a bit of a relief. It was quiet for the first time since they had crashed, mostly because everyone was still asleep. By the time that she managed to get a makeshift pole together (the curved stick she'd gotten from the ground, the 'string' was a piece of her shirt and some wriggly weird looking grub from the ground), the sun was nearly all the way out. She chose a spot that seemed quiet, did a little toss with the pole and sat down to wait it out.

Tidbit: Open to All

Night fell early on the island. The first rumble in the darkness could have been thunder; there were clouds in the sky. Yet, there was no thunder that resembled the - was it a roar? An engine? Whatever had caused the noise, it was loud enough to wake even the deepest sleepers. Silence lasted long enough for roused sleepers to fall back to slumber. Then, something not-quite-screamed, and maybe-a-roar answered seconds later. The conversation, if it could be called that, continued throughout the night, damning more than one survivor to restless sleep: if they were able to sleep at all.

Mod Note: Have your characters react how they will, but at this point, there is nothing to indicate to the survivors that they are on an island with dinosaurs, or that those are what are making the noises.
