TIDBIT - mandie + open

July 18, 6:47 am
7M - at the creek

If she had been able to manage a few hours of sleep, she had been lucky. When she woke up for the fifth time, thanks to the strange and booming sounds of the forest, she decided that there was no point in trying anymore and decided to actually start doing something. There was no point in being idle. When she realized there was a creek nearby, she happily started to put together a fishing pole to try and catch something for breakfast.

Being away from everyone else was a bit of a relief. It was quiet for the first time since they had crashed, mostly because everyone was still asleep. By the time that she managed to get a makeshift pole together (the curved stick she'd gotten from the ground, the 'string' was a piece of her shirt and some wriggly weird looking grub from the ground), the sun was nearly all the way out. She chose a spot that seemed quiet, did a little toss with the pole and sat down to wait it out.

Tidbit - Briar & Reese, open to Riley

10:20am, 7M

Even a plane crashing couldn't deter Briar from her self-appointed mission. She was there to get back at Reese, and he was still alive, and therefore her target. She'd spent more of the day prior watching him than she should have, given the circumstances, but she was a woman on the brink of obsession. If only it could have been a plane crash of one. It was on this second day that she approached him, not because she didn't have the nerve until then, but because she wouldn't have been able to do so without devolving into a fit of rage and/or cursing at him with more cuss words than were in the English language. "I'd say this plane crash is your karma finally biting you in the ass, Reese Kalama, but you took a hell of a lot of other people with you. Then again, that seems like it might be your style. You have a thing for ruining other people's lives, don't you?"
