I, for one, am not terribly good at baking or preparing food, but I do know a couple things, and that's DIY projects. In light of the Fourth of July and the summer, I thought I'd share some I found online? The nice thing about these is you can get pretty much everything you need at the commissary.
Confetti Poppers. I'd forego the label stickers, I think that's a little tacky, really.
Floating Candle Bug Repellent. I know the bug repellent part really doesn't apply unless you're in the atrium, but on the whole these are really visually appealing, unique, scented decorative pieces.
Paper Flower Garnishes. Straightforward and a great way to decorate drinks.
Mini Indoor Gardening Projects. A couple of these ideas don't take up much space and add a little life to your apartment/suite/studio.
Candy Bottle Rockets. For a festive sweet tooth.
And now just a whole
page dedicated to summer crafts.
I'm sure these aren't everyone's cup of tea, but for those of you who like these sorts of things, hopefully something here inspires you.
[Erin Montgomery]I have a lot on my mind, I guess, after everything that's happened this past week. Is it alright if I come in?
