Few things seem to be less exhausting than your sister suddenly being in charge of a tiny human. I mean, as 'sudden' as following nine months of growing said human can possibly be. To sum it up: baby Sean is two weeks old, I already know far too much about mixing formula and changing diapers, and patroling feels rather like a vacation compared to keeping a baby happy. But at least I can close the door and go home at the end of the day, so yay?
I also feel this really weird urge to learn to knit? Is that also a baby thing? Even though the baby in question is a) already born, and b) not even mine?
Contributions for alternate topics of conversations are welcome, I feel like I haven't slept for a week so my conversation skills are hovering somewhere between 'poor' and 'at least you're trying'.
Edited to add, after this: Baseball fans, what team are the Cubs' biggest rival? And can you buy me a newborn sized onesie with said team's logo on it? I'll pay you back, obviously.
