Well, things apparently got a little interesting at my old facility the other day.

So my birthday's on Monday. Since the lameness of Mondays conflicts with the awesomeness of birthdays, I'll be doing a little bit of celebrating tonight at Capers. There will be probably be shots.

Everyone come celebrate with me! Or go there like normal and I'll pretend that I'm the reason!

Apologies in advance for any weird things that happen to glassware. :)

It's sad to think that there's almost definitely life on other planets, and we'll probably never meet any of it. Time and space separate us, minuscule islands of consciousness in a vast and deadly shadow sea. Cavemen huddled around campfires, pressed in on all sides by the terrifying void. No matter what heights we reach, what powers we develop, we remain bound by physics.

We are goldfish contemplating the ocean. We're ants at the base of the mountain. We're Adam Sandler during awards season.

I have accepted that I will not be legendary this weekend. Maybe next weekend.
