Grey Haven, Utah, is a quiet American tourist town. It's sleepy, the townies are friendly, and it seems like nothing out of the ordinary happens there. This is because this tiny town is a supernatural dead-zone, and host to some very powerful, potent magic of its own. Within the borders of Grey Haven, all supernaturals are rendered mundane... and they become completely human. In these modern times, the town serves many functions: a neutral ground for warring factions to meet, a sanctuary for the hunted, a hiding place for fugitives, or simply a place to break a terrible curse or enchantment. To this day, its original function is still its most common: allowing supernatural creatures who are tired of the secrecy and the struggle a peaceful haven to live out a mortal life and eventually have a natural death, something many supernaturals are denied. |

Oracle/Barbara Gordon -> I have Pepper Potts {twostepsahead} who's trying to figure out a network of superheroes to call on when dealing with villains. An Oracle would be greatly appreciated by all, plus there's a ton of plot for her from whatever point in canon she's taken from!
Lucius Fox -> Batman & Alfred need some help man. Plus, who doesn't love Morgan Freeman?
Nick Fury -> He's a serious need. We have quite a few Avengers and we desperately need someone to take charge of them and make them a team!
Hawkeye -> We have the rest of the Avengers assembled. We need you!
Spider-Man Villains -> We have a Spider-Man & MJ Watson in game, plus a few villains, but a Spider-Man villain would be lots of fun to try and round out the crew! Green Goblin is requested by MJ!
The Tudors -> We have an Anne Boleyn in game who would love some cast mates!
Harry Potter Cast -> Harry (boltingly) and Hermione (ms_smartypants) would love to see a Ron Weasley, Severus Snape, Bellatrix LeStrange, and Voldemort.
A Song of Ice and Fire -> Robb, Sansa, Cersei, Jamie, Joffrey, Samwell Tarly, Stannis Baratheon, and Ygritte are the major wants. We currently have a Ned, Arya, Jon, and Bran in game.
Star Wars -> Padme is in game and she'd love an Anakin, Luke and Leia to come join her!

What if, while struggling with some dark demons, she made a wish: that there would be no more women anywhere in the world? And what if her magic took that rather literally, turning every woman into a man and erasing everyone's memory that something strange had happened? What if men could have babies together, there was no such thing as "straight," and locker room talk became the public norm? Now what if that magic was never reversed? The men of the world might just go right along doing what they've always done: get drunk, have sex, start fights, and live out their lives day after day. They might get fed up with mutants and metahumans. They might banish them to an island nation where they never have to see them again. They might just create the best set-up for long days and nights of fun and frolicking in a tropical paradise the world had ever seen. |

We are a tightly-knit mature-themed (18+) modern-myth game, played out on InsaneJournal forums since June 2011. As the hearts of mighty civilizations rose, fell, and their influence shifted westward, so, too, did the divine epicenters of the deities they worshipped. Even the gods, demigods, monsters and mortal heroes fell subject to the same ruin, and were thrust into the cycle of rebirth and placed at the mercies of warring powers older and more powerful than they ever were. Now, each of these ancient seats of power (Asgard, Olympus, Avalon, the Third World, Waset, The Garden of Eden) lies hidden somewhere in the United States, each calling to its respective divinities. The figures themselves, now all born into mortal human bodies, must rediscover these epicenters, and in doing so, uncover their powers, reclaim their ancient seats, and restore their ancient and rightful glories. The path will not be easy, however. The powers they once wielded have been diminished in their human forms, but they are still awesome enough to elicit both wonder and fear from the ordinary citizens around them. Many obstacles will stand in their way, and they are still subject to the ongoing battles of the ancient and mysterious forces that have created this situation. They will have to rely on each other to become the faces of divine power once again. We are seeking mature players with excellent writing skills, preferably with mythological knowledge, to join our group of friends. We are especially in need of Celtic, Hindu and Judeo-Christian figures to join our pantheons. Many figures remain open! Dark time-travel game Chronic Ressurection has had a recent influx of good guys, particularly in trio era, and we are in dire need of some bad, evil, shady, dodgy, immoral, amoral, bitchy, mean, vindictive, violent, or ambiguous types to bring the balance back to the dark side. Death Eaters, Slytherins, or just unsavoury characters are all welcomed and loved. We're an awesome game and we are absolutely not going to die - we're stubborn as can be, you see, and the current mods met on the game and got married, so have rather an attachment to the old place. We're set in 1980 and 2001 exploring the AU that arises following the inadvertent time-travel of four key individuals from 2001. 1980 is just a little AU, whilst 2001 is very AU because Harry got distracted by time travel and Voldemort won. The players are all friendly and there are no cliques. There's a plot post every week, but interpersonal plots are also highly encouraged. We have the easiest application process in the world and the most flexible activity requirements ever. We love IC drama and angst and dark nastiness, because it's fun.
