Toto, this doesn't quite seem like Kansas anymore. The island is far from the world you remember. This isn't your home, this isn't even Earth from as far as you can tell. But why? How did you get here? It seems the whims of an unknown and forgotten goddess has decided to make you her plaything, dragging you from your world and timeline and placing you on an inescapable island. Welcome to Twisted Island, where anything can happen and it usually does. The island changes with the mood of the goddess. It’s her playground and you are one of the very many toys in it. But you’re not alone. There are others stuck on the island just like you and if you’re lucky the goddess didn't just steal you away, but friends and family you know as well. Best idea though? Make friends, powerful friends. Make sure there are people to watch your back because when the island starts to change, you're going to need every little bit of help you can get. Will you survive, or will you give up and break under the pressure? Apply and become one of the many playthings that the goddess loves to toy with on Twisted Island. Ten years go the mirror they used to come this world shattered mysteriously and now they are trapped in our world. As the citizens of Astoria, called "Stories" by the locals, continue to live a mundane existence caught between moving on and clinging to their identity, are they truly safe in our world? Will they ever find their way back? Inspired by Fables and a touch of The 10th Kingdom, this game will be open for anyone to join. At the end of April it will become "Invite Only." | House of M transformed the Marvel Universe forever; even when it was undone, things never went back exactly the same way as before. Of course, that's what happened to Earth-616. Over on Earth-69, things went a little differently. Instead of "No more mutants," the fateful words that changed the universe were "No more women." The magic took that rather literally, turning every woman into a man and erasing everyone's memory that something strange had happened. The men of the world just went right along doing what they'd always done: getting drunk, having sex, starting fights, and living out their lives day after day. The whole world was one big locker room. Eventually, however, they got fed up with mutants and metahumans. After a bloody conflict, the humans banished them to an island nation to keep the peace. When they did, they wound up creating the best set-up for long days and nights of fun and frolicking in a tropical paradise the world had ever seen. |
