 ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif){kind=small} lockdown is a small Marauder-Era AU roleplaying game, taking the world of Harry Potter and exploring the theme of an extended civil war and its effect on the populace. Our goal is to explore the ideas of freedom and safety, peace and conflict, the opposing forces of light and dark, and the idea of what measures are called for in times of war. In the end, the work of the characters involved and the ends to which they are willing to go, are the only things that will decide Britain's fate.We're looking for more players to expand our numbers, and really build up a larger community. In particular, we are looking to recruit more Death Eaters and Ministry-aligned individuals, as well as a list of specific lines here.

Changed is an AU game that follows a timeline which assumes that Peter Pettigrew made quite a different choice in 1981. Rather than betraying his closest friends to Voldemort, Peter confessed his regretted Dark Mark to Albus Dumbledore and to the Order of the Phoenix. As a result, when Voldemort came to the Godric’s Hollow on Halloween, he was met with the full force of the Order’s power, which broke his own. At the time, it was thought that Voldemort had been defeated forever, but now the world knows know that this was not the case and a second war is building. In the midst of that war, a boy who never was The Boy Who Lived has a prophecy to fulfill, but that boy’s world is immensely different. How different? The year is 2005... or is it 1981? Or 1998? No one is quite sure... all you know is that they’re suddenly standing just outside a large wrought icon gate which reads "Trickster's Paradise", through which can be seen a street that looks like Hogsmeade... only something is just slightly off, and it’s not just the fact that your mother is walking down the street towards you somehow, even though she died 20 years ago. There's also the fact that you soon discover how Hogsmeade somehow branches off into Diagon Alley, with Hogwarts looming over it, and that the Ministry of Magic is at the other end of the front door of the Leaky. Not to mention that just beyond the Forbidden forest is that beach in Blackpool that you used to go to when you were a kid, and if you walk through the train station in Hogsmeade you end up in a field that you're pretty sure used to be in Ireland. It is there. It sits innocent and unassuming, seemingly ready for whoever will make the move. However, who will that be? Does it even matter anymore?
