Though mutants have only existed for two short years, Charles Xavier believes that humans and mutants can share the planet in a peaceful co-existence. He has opened his home, creating the Xavier Haven for Gifted Individuals, to all mutants who need help or seek to better the world with patience and understanding, using violence as a last resort.
Impatient with the ignorance, fear and hatred of humans towards mutants, Erik Lensherr and his Acolytes broke away from the Haven and formed The Brotherhood of Mutants in order to pursue a dream of their own: Tolerance and acceptance now, not later. Convinced that only action will create change, they struggle to right the many injustices of the world.
Most Wanted: Beast, Dazzler, Deadpool, Fantomex, Forge, Emma Frost, Icarus, Iceman, Magik, Quicksilver, Sasquatch, Surge, Wallflower and you!
Mutants stand divided. Which side will you be on?

Chicago is at war. Since the Sabbat Invasion in 2002, Chicago has become a contested city. Luc, the newest Prince of Chicago, struggles to retain Camarilla leadership after the mysterious disappearance of the former Prince Lodin, now believed to be dead. The Justicars and Primogens question if the inexperienced Luc can handle the civil unrest of the city and threaten to remove him as Prince. Meanwhile, the Sabbat plan to move in, taking full advantage of this weakening Camarillia regime. Francis, and Archbishop of the Sabbat, questions who to trust in his counsel -- as all are vying for his position once control is gained of Chicago. An influx of Kindred of all clans alike have flooded the city in hopes to regain a strong hold for their respective factions. Allegiances are questioned, treaties are made and broken, and loyalty has become a bargaining chip in the vampire war for Chicago.

Set in real time in modern day (or night, rather!) Chicago, Chicago by Night is a World of Darkness/Vampire: the Masquerade RPG.

Six degrees of separation (also referred to as the "Human Web") refers to the idea that everyone is on average approximately six steps away from any other person on Earth, so that a chain of, "a friend of a friend" statements can be made, on average, to connect any two people in six steps or fewer.

In January 2006, Wizarding Great Britain is finally ready to move on from the events of May 1998. Hogwarts reconstruction has been completed, old shops have been restored and reopened and new shops have popped up in Wizarding towns. The community and commerce is thriving once more.

However, old prejudices die hard. School rivalries still ring true, Pureblood Supremecists still hold their views with utmost importance and Muggleborn Rights Activists still fight for complete equality. Not everyone gets along and this is no perfect world. Where will you fit in? Will you be the Boy Hero having drinks at a local pub with the Slytherin Prince? Will you be the Bubbling Badger secretly pining after the Raven Seeker? Will you be the Brawny Sidekick struggling to shed pretense in order to strike up a friendship with the Bookish Brunette?

Wherever you fit in, just remember that we are all connected. Where rivalries, prejudices, romances and friendships run, our steps from one person to the next run closer and deeper.

Welcome to Six Degrees!

Forgotten Gods

"Immortals are what you wanted," said Thor in a low, quiet voice. "Immortals are what you got. It is a little hard on us. You wanted us to be for ever, so we are for ever. Then you forget about us. But we are still for ever. Now at last, many are dead, many are dying," he then added in a quiet voice, "but it takes a special effort."

-- Douglas Adams

Forgotten Gods follows the deities of ancient mythologies, brought to America long ago by explorers or immigrants from their homelands and eventually abandoned or lost from memory. As their worshippers have moved on to new religions, the gods' powers have waned -- for a god, at its most pure essence, is no more than an idea, and an idea is worthless if there is nobody to believe in it. Some have passed, forgotten, from the world, while others have fallen into madness. Some have simply tried to adapt, to make a life for themselves in this place without gods, getting by on what little scraps of worship and belief they can garner. Others are more radical, intent on regaining the power that was once theirs and reviving their followings.

And then there are the New Gods. Gods of cars and computers, television and radio, cities and highways, all those things that modern Americans put their faith in. They are young, at the height of their power. These newcomers are regarded dismissively by some of the old ones, who have seen so many new deities rise and fall in their time; jealously by others, who wish to reclaim the power for their own; and by all with a deep, abiding wariness.

Inspired by the world of Neil Gaiman's American Gods, this game invites players to step into the roles of deities, old and new, to create their own modern mythology.
