We are all victims of this inhumane violation of our rights. None of us had any choice in this, and we will remember who is responsible for our captivity and the threats they hold over our heads. Whether you choose to play along or sit out is your choice. However the actions we take, the choices that we make here, are our responsibility. Violence and reckless destruction are not excusable, especially not when those you are harming are not our captors but each other.

We are among many individuals who have criminal histories- murderers and psychopaths. Because of our situation, we have viewed them as on our side in hopes they would cooperate for the good of the group. We do not want conflict, but now they have brought it to us through the horrific behavior displayed at the midway. I am highly disappointed.

Do we excuse these actions as allowable given the circumstances, or do we form a system to keep each other accountable?

Many of us come from different realities with different methods of governance, law, and justice. Or lack of. It is important that we recognize and respect this. We cannot impose any system upon the rest and call it fair unless we have majority support.

So I propose an open forum to discuss what rules we find necessary to put in place, what consequences are appropriate, and who we trust amongst us to uphold order. And if you feel differently, you are also welcome to express dissent.

Probably not all of it, but it seems like they're trying to drive conflict. Maybe the jungle was about working together and the tea party was about how terrible everyone is, but here, we've all gotta look out for number one.

And judging by the other day, they're getting some sort of results. If scientists have to replicate experiments, it will probably happen again.

You bring up valid points, which is why I'm happy many are participating in sharing their views. They are not easy questions to answer, and we shouldn't rush to a quick decision. I definitely am not looking for a way to punish those who are already punished by our circumstances, but as a way to protect those who may get caught in the crossfire.

They're most definitely trying to drive conflict. There's no doubt that some of these tasks were assigned, and no doubt that some people took advantage of the chaos to lash out on their own. I agree that it's a difficult situation to place blame on somebody, when this entire experiment is designed to put us under stress and test our reactions to it. But we have to decide what our reactions to it are going to be.

Do we quietly allow them to pit us against each other for primal reward vs punishment and all power and might over what is right and moral, or do we try to bring some order to our situation. If we are to decide on self interest, then it is only fair to allow everyone to know not to rely on expectations of law or justice and find new ways of protecting themselves.

That could mean deciding what's right and moral. I mean those are rather subjective terms for the complex reality of circus life in hell.

Indeed. That is the task that has been faced by every individual, family unit, tribe, village, organization, church, country, since the beginning of civilization. The only thing clear is that total anarchy does not work, it only makes it easier for the powerful to inflict will upon the weak. Is that your idea of right and moral?

That depends on what's weak and strong.

If music's to be believed, it's kind of throwing the baby out with the bathwater to give up on anarchy after one measly fire. There haven't even been songs written about it, music festivals in honor of it, drunken award show acceptance speeches, and finally a made for tv movie inviting youth oriented corporations to jump down and force a gentrified version of anarchy down the throats of a mindless mob of consumers showing that even marxist rebellion can be commercialized

I guess in this case the equivalent would be receiving anarchy buttons from our scientists. But there might still be some pep in that old mule until then.
