Guys I know some of you aren't excited about parents and shit BUT I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT PARENTS AND SHIT.

Hey bros of Cole. It's time for real talk.

It has come to my attention that he has completely gone batshit and lost his mind and likes freaking CORALEE MOTHERFUCKING WONG which we all know is just about the worst thing ever for a little sweet weird kid like Cole.

So I think we should save him from the evil clutches of stupid Coralee. Like, for reals save him because this is ridiculous. It’s time for the Cole A. Moss Preservation Squad (CAMPS)!! We’re gonna get him away from evil and in bed (Figuratively. Maybe.) with someone much nicer! As first plan, I propose we make him kiss everyone he knows until he figures out who he likes that isn’t evil! It’s a pretty quick way to get this crap sorted that doesn’t require finesse or whatever. That way we can just all pretend this didn’t happen and Coralee can go back to making freshman miserable and leave Cole alone.

She sent him MACAROONS for christ's sake! She’s up to some evil shit. We’ve got to get going on this fast.

You guys know him way better than me so this’ll obviously go smoother if you help, but honestly I’m gonna do this crap whether you guys want to help or not because this is insane and he is just going to get trampled and that is NOT OK.

Side note I don’t know if his middle name actually starts with an A but CMPS is just dumb so it’s close enough anyways.

Other side note the team name is technically up for debate but I think it's pretty solid.

1) Ok but Coralee is legit bordering on being the worst ughughugh. I don't know all the crap she's done but like... I can imagine. >(

2) ok ok omg you guys are crazy about him not boning?!? He's an adult maybe he'll want to he gets to decide but THAT IS BESIDE THE POINT he just has to stop liking Satan

3) ~~Lol yeah studly ok~~ I was going to say sorry you can't get him to like you but friendship is great sooo yeah. Whatever. I think the kissing plan is great!

4) OMG THAT WOULD BE THE WORST but takes too much effort especially given that it's Cole and I feel like you can just talk him into things and so that seems like overkill

Siiiiiigh you're right you're right YOU'RE RIGHT. I mean about just talking Cole into things but idk he is really set on this? Usually he's not stubborn about much but when I've talked to him about it, it's all NEVER FELT THIS WAY BEFORE and CAN'T STOP MYSELF FROM THINKING ABOUT HER and AMORTENTIA WAS SO NICE WHILE IT LASTED AND I MISS IT.

	I think boning might be a little extreme. And much for Cole. But I don't think the kissing idea is so bad. Maybe it will help him see other people are fun to kiss? 	I think we should help him find someone he connects with, and then kissing will follow like I presume usually does when you're in normal, sensible relationships. 	I don't know, but we need to be careful. Micah's right, Cole just doesn't have any experience with this sort of thing, and we could end up getting him into another bad relationship because he's lonely. We should solve the Coralee problem, and then if he really wants a relationship, we can discuss with him what he's looking for. (Reply to this) (Parent)

The first order of business is seeing if Cole is amenable to being talked out of it. If we can simply convince him that Coralee isn't going to follow through on any of her implicit promises of affection, then everything can be solved neatly.

The follow up could be suggesting to him that he has a secret admirer..? But we'd need someone to be able to follow up on this. I don't want to give him false hope or bring in someone with ulterior motives, so that might be a dangerous path SO NEVER MIND LET'S NOT DO THAT.

Most importantly: we need to change Coralee's behaviour above all else. She holds all the cards. Cole's given her the power in this situation.

I can talk to Cole. He's MY BUDDYMATE after all. But how do we talk him out of it? I mean, he's in love. Every crumb of attention she gives him just BOLSTERS his belief that she's more than everyone else thinks she is. We could spend THREE HOURS with charts and an educational movie explaining why it's a bad idea, and all Coralee needs to do is beckon to him with a finger and he's gonna think we're FULL OF IT.

We need to get her to turn on someone he loves. If she's cruel to one of you in public, he'll be forced to reconsider if she really is all that wonderful. But it can't be the same person that talks to him, so that he doesn't add up that someone's conspiring against Coralee. It'll decay his trust.

So, you talk to him about where things stand, stay gentle.

Hazel, Ana or Ennis: One of you needs to volunteer to attract her ire in public. Don't pick a fight, just get her to be mean to you. It probably won't be hard.

And we need to focus on getting her to let go of Cole without sacrificing Micah as her new servant. Not that you don't seem plenty able to protect yourself, St. Clair, but it's really not ideal.

What if we spread rumors that she and Cole are actually together? We could write her a letter from some "desirable" boy, implying he's put off by her relationship with Cole. She'll have to distance herself to preserve her reputation. It's really a shame the anonymous post is so far away, but if this ends up lasting that long... it could be a useful tool.

....bro, I think you're a genius. Since everyone is so against smooching, I think this is a really good idea! Because if he can't register that she's being a dickbag to him, he'll at least be able to see it when she's doing it to other people I bet!!

I'd totally happily get her ire but idk I don't think he cares enough about me to pay enough attention maybe? Like I imagine he'd probably care a bit since he's a marshmallow but it wouldn't hit home as hard.

Also... letter to Coralee might not be the worst idea every because she is SO INTO HERSELF UGH that she'd probably be offended that someone was put off by Cole?? Do you guys know any hot dudes that she might fan herself over???

P.S. Micah you are defs not allowed to sacrifice yourself I don't want her to get the satisfaction of a new ~~loser~~ servant person, and also you don't deserve that.

Covington: Too quiet, too nice, to utterly disinterested.
Ogletrees 1 & 2: Too young for her to care. She'd want to make them into yet more thralls.
Secret Admirer: If she believes it, it'll be the safest route. She won't be able to confront her 'admirer'.

...omg I think Ulysses is a winner. My only worry about like the pure secret admirer thing is that I dunno how much she'll care if she can't see the admirer as an attractive alternative to having slave Cole, you know?? So like... we don't have to outright say it's Ulysses, but I think it's good to just super imply that it's him so that she like.. has a person to view as being worth dropping Cole for (pure blood, smart, cutely prickish). Easier to believe I think??

I like Coralee? I can recognize now that what's happening between her and Cole isn't good, but I still like her? We're in Event Committee together and she's never been mean to me? I don't really want to purposefully attract her ire...

I think I'm going to talk to Cole, too, though. My soul aches knowing that his soul aches? I love him very much. ~~And this feels manipulative?~~ And I can't sit by knowing that he's hurting over this?

So he can do whatever he thinks is best. You're probs just being fussy because you're worried about Cole but like.. divided we fall. So cut it out bro.

Ennis! Just don't tell anyone ok?? I think you're 10000% wrong about Coralee but you gotta do you and make your own decisions about stuff! So if you want we can also just like, not include you in these planning things?? Then you don't have to feel bad about knowing stuff ~~and you won't have a chance to rat us out~~. These plans are all kind of about like... not being truthful to Cole but that's because being upfront isn't doing anything, you know? And we wanna help him and sometimes you have to do stuff that doesn't seem like the nicest to help other people. Everyone here has helping Cole as top priority!

Also guys I can hurt his trust in me and do the not fun stuff as much as needed because p sure he's already not thrilled with me asking a million questions about Coralee lol. So I'll bite the bullet where needed!! No one should have to do anything they're not comfortable with, especially because you guys are like... really his friends and are close and stuff and I don't want to take that away from him in our quest to rescue him you know? Cole is definitely not an adult... I think you're all a little too young to be doing that anyway? You're only fifteen...

I think Cole has a romantic spirit that's been awakened. He's never really shown interest in anyone before the Amortentia awakened the feeling inside him and showed him what passionate love feels like? And now the only person he has to associate that feeling with is Coralee... I think it's a combination of disinterest in other people and the memory of the feelings he had toward her? I imagine that would make his connection to Coralee feel more special and tied to fate, even after the effects of the potion dissipated.
