I'm fostering the sweetest little pregnant cat, which is nice for the mother and me, but it sucks that she's only a year old and was clearly abandoned. Spay/neuter your pets and don't just dump them outside when you've lost your interest, especially in the winter.

Love what you guys are doing with the Halloween Festival! I had an idea I wanted to float by the committee.

I think it would be really beneficial to the purist community to put on a charity drive in support of the preservation of magical culture. And before you start bitching, Black — you're only on this ward as a courtesy and I don't really care about your opinion because you're so biased, but it's not a "purist thing". It would focus on fostering awareness of the connectivity of ALL witches and wizards through our shared magical heritage and history. The benefits could go to any number of libraries or museums, or like, I don't know. A soup kitchen or early education for poor little muggleborns. I'm still working out the kinks, but you get the gist.

I,am SO glad the proceedings on the Montague/Sidebottom case have begun so we can see justice served. I, for one, feel so much safer with two Death Eaters off the streets. Thanks, Ministry. :)

I literally hate friendly reminders, but here's a few friendly reminders for the month of October: don't adopt a black cat if you're not going to keep it after Halloween, don't adopt a black cat to do fucked up things to it on Halloween, and DO adopt black cats if you're a competent pet owner in it for the long haul. My Chernobog is a black cat, and probably the sweetest of my babies. Also, remember to donate to your local RSPCA. Unless you hate animals, I guess.
