Find the Horcruxes (ooc)

*rubs eyes* Good morning!

Dawn bringing the crazy and a certain Messr Prongs. Not going to lie, I'm ridiculously excited to play post-asshole James. I always get him when he's still a huge shit! Anyway, you all know about James Potter, so I hope you forgive me if I skip over the canon details.

We had a James before, and while there wasn't much activity, I definitely want to know what history and stuff there was with him, and we'll work it out! At the moment, I'd like a (second) cousin or two through James's mum (who has no surname, come to think of it), but the catch is, she was pretty old when she had James -- thus the second cousin bits -- so it would need to be through older character's parents or young character's grandparents. I could also use a few girls in which James snogged pre-Lily and, of course, people he hexed in the corridors because he didn't like them. So if your character is in SLYTHERIN and around his year, STEP RIGHT UP!

Hi Death Eaters!

Since we have so many new people who have just picked up Death Eaters, and also because we still have a number of positions to fill in for November, I want to do a quick post re: Death Eater plots. If you are playing a Death Eater, please go to this doc and take a look around.

1. If you haven't already done so, place your Outer Circle DE either in Tier 2 or Tier 3. There are guidelines in the doc for how to decide which tier. Please do this ASAP as I think I'm going to try this weekend to pull the hierarchy out into a separate and 'complete' doc to reduce clutter in the plotting doc.

2. Look at general plot ideas. If you've got fantastic ideas for where the DEs could go or what they might do, feel free to add a plot possibility in that section so our fabulous mod can look over it.

3. Look at available logs. I've tried to bold in red places where we need a DE willing to log - so please do sign up!

If you don't have access? Let me know - cause we can add you. I think I've added new people, but I may have missed someone cause we've had a lot of new DEs in the last week (which is yay!)

Evening, guys! Jenny here with DE Hector Gibbon who is, quite frankly, a big meany and not good for my sanity.

So… Things to know about Hector:
1. He’s a former Ravenclaw, class of 1965.
2. Pureblood, but with a blood traitor mother and a muggleborn step-father. Older characters may remember the really messy divorce his parents had when it turned out Hector’s mother was cheating with one of those. But yeah, divorce in the fifties. Not good at all.
3. Works on the Accidental Magic Reversal Squad and spends way too much of his time fixing the mistakes of over-emotional muggleborn kids.
4. Is a charms enthusiast.
5. May have shown your characters one of his watercolour pictures of dogs in order to prove that he is a NORMAL person who paints NORMAL things in a NORMAL and BORING way.
6. Has (step-)daddy issues which extend to muggleborn and Gryffindor issues, sry2say.
7. He aspires to hang out with a ~better class of people than the lot he belongs to, so important purebloods may notice him trying to slide in there.
8. Fellow DEs may have been suspicious of his motives at some point (Baby DEs who have not seen how much of a maniac he is may still not trust him). His step-daddy is a retired Hitwizard, so it didn’t look great for Hector fitting in to begin with. He likes to think he’s proved himself, though.
9. Oh, yeah. On the subject of DEs, Hector is a little weird about it all. In some ways he sees them as a family rather than a group or organisation or CAUSE. Harbours some sorta deep down fondness for all his murdering little pals. He’s not naïve and he wouldn’t falter to pass the buck if it became necessary (nor does he assume that the others wouldn’t throw him to the wolves), but he’s nuts enough to think there’s some sort of true bond between the lot of them. They do what they have to do and acts of backstabbing are nothing personal. It all adds to the family dynamic. Idek, he’s crazy, k?
10. If your name is Mavis McMuggleborn, he wants to hang you from the ceiling by your own intestines. I’m sorry. He’s HORRIBLE. :(
11. Unfortunately, if you’ve not joined in with the evil mask-wearing shenanigans, he probably seems like a nice guy. Bit rough around the edges- he can swear like a sailor-, but he appears to mean well. Usually to be found doing charms research, cheering the Tornadoes on, down the pub, or chatting adoringly about his (much hated, brat-like, INSOLENT) niece.

So, yeah, hit me up with any plot you can think of! Past relationships, friendships, enemies, I-taunted-your-mother-before-she-died-and-you-don’t-know-about-it-ahahaha-ships (to use Charity as an example :[). More info here.
