modly announcement!

I know, there's been quite a few posts from me within the last thirty-six hours. But even if you utterly ignore the others (but please don't!), you really need to read this one.

We the modlies feel the need to emphasize that In Charater Actions = In Character Consequences. If nothing else, Dedalus Diggle should have taught us that.

If you are going to be doing any plot that might involve character death, outing of either Order members or Death Eaters, or, really, anything that might cause the modlies to have to scramble to clean up the mess, please discuss it with us first! We're here for a reason! We can help you make sure that whatever consequences come from your plot are ones that both make sense and would keep you as happy as possible, instead of us having to make executive decisions.

We're serious about this, guys. Just like we're serious about the check-in posts and the entries that are required for them. We want this to be fun, but we want it to be fun for everyone, and it's just not fair if one character can get away with something, but another character can't.

ATTN PUREBLOODS!

Hello, everyone! Alie here.

So! Over the last little while, Kate and I have been compiling a guide to Pureblood Society (in addition to our ridiculous family tree on Geni) that covers everything from canon family names and history, to the differences between the types of parties that society wizards and witches attend, and an in-depth explanation of cotillion (among many other things). It is not yet done, but as we are additionally building an accompaniment to it that requires participation--and some creativity!--from the kids with pureblood characters, I have gained Brandi's modly seal of approval in moving full steam ahead and getting you guys involved! Yay! :D It's called the FTH Pureblood Family Guide.

Cut for much wordiness! )
