Find the Horcruxes (ooc)

So hi! Tis Abby, and though I'm still predominantly hiatused (that is to say that I'm writing this awkwardly on my laptop right now and still need to move into my new apartment and set up my other computer), I wanted to do an introduction post for one miss Mary MacDonald, showing here!

Mary was a Gryffindor in the same year as MWPP, and is Muggleborn. Though she started out her school career being quiet, awkward and uncomfortable, an Incident during her fourth year (the exact details of which are as yet to be determined, upon the hopeful application and acceptance of a future Mulciber) caused her to reevaluate her life and become very open and outgoing, not to mention rather blunt with her opinions of people and things. She played Keeper on the Gryffindor team for the last two years of her schooling and is currently working at Quality Quiddith Supplies as a shopgirl and at the Leaky Cauldron as a waitress/barmaid/thing (both of which are parttime).

From the point of the Incident in her fourth year, Mary's been hugely focused on basically getting as good as she can get at DADA, but beyond that, her academics were an area of extreme laziness for her. She squeaked by in her other classes, but really was more focused on doing well in DADA and basically enjoying her last years at Hogwarts to make up for the time passed being awkward and uncomfortable.

I know I kind of dropped off the face of the earth for awhile, but real life pretty much kicked me in the butt with work things and then a sinus infection followed by me being extra brilliant and shutting my hand in a door and then... an amazing seven days straight of working because we were short-handed BLAH BLAH BLAH.

The good news is that I am BACK and ready to do something with Kas, here! I'm sure there are 5723576523 new people since I failed, soplease to be giving me the plot. Kasia is 18 and has just entered healer training at St. Mungos. She's also Ernie's little sister. I am really up for ANYTHING, so poke me here or shoot me an IM at macgirl50!

Alright, guys! I know adds are usually done in the evening / night, but I was braindead last night and would've made five billion errors in doing adds, so I did them this morning, instead. :) SO! Please swing by the adding button and add our three new characters! Moz is bringing in character number two, Betty Braithwaite, and Kate is joining the fiver club by bringing in characters four and five at the same time: Mad Angus MacDougal and Caoimhe Sullivan.

Okay, guys. I'm just waiting to hear back on two more characters for the rolls, but I'm working tonight. Some awards show or something, kinda the Spanish-language version of the grammys or something like that. HOPEFULLY it won't be running too late (knock on wood), but if anyone's still around when I get home (whenever that is, God I hope it's not too late. >>) and wants to watch or whatever, I'll be doing rolls in chat tonight, then *hopefully* tomorrow (amidst cleaning my room and packing, oi) I'll get a post and gdoc up with stuff like who's fighting whom and all that stuff, so you guys can start, y'know, doing that thing you do.

FIRST, we have Mad Angus MacDougal, a vampire Highlander who's old buddies with Nick Harrow and an ancestor (from way back in the 17th century) of the present-day wizarding MacDougals (*coughs*whichsomebodyshouldsignuptoplaycuzthatwouldrock*coughs*). Since I do not expect anyone to read his history because the man is 713 years old and said history is EPIC, let me give you a quick breakdown on him:
- born in 1266, turned in 1306 at the Battle of Methven when he was riding with Robert the Bruce
- was known as Mad Angus long before he was a vampire, because he didn't need immortality to make him think pissing off important people and picking fights just for the joy of hitting were good ideas.
- was married twice before he was turned and has been married twice since, once to a Muggle courtesan in Italy and once to a Welsh witch. He still keeps up with the wizarding MacDougals, since he doesn't have to explain to them why their Granddad Angus is still around and still looks between 40 and 60 years old.
- likes piano jazz, punk rock, fighting, being obnoxious, his castle, and Scotland. Oh, and this NuBlood business, because it's really nice not to have to bother about all that carefully drinking blood and not killing people or hunting down people who need killing to eat.
- Don't ask him about the Salem Magical Neighborhood Association.

NEXT we have Miss Caoimhe Sullivan (pronouncedkeeva, also known as Doyle Sullivan's twin sister. She was a Hufflepuff as well (class of '71), and played Chaser on the Puff Quidditch team around the same time as Marcus Yaxley. She's known to be very quiet, though you can get a quite nice conversation out of her once she's a little more comfortable with you. She's a reference librarian at the Brookstanton Memorial Library on Diagon Alley...and also a SPY. That's right, she's in the Order of the Phoenix, making use of her sharp little research brain and her ability to apparate without making any noise and to go around quietly not being noticed. It scares her a lot, but as a Muggleborn witch who believes in justice and doing the right thing, she sticks with it.

SO THERE THEY ARE! Friends? Enemies? Exes? Acquaintances? Talk to me, people! With the way Angus gets around it's possible for just about anybody to know him, and though Caoimhe's rather quiet there are at least a good bunch of people her age and of course the Order people. I am open to all possibilities!
