[info]dawnsfirstlight is a small group, but we're looking for fresh blood! A lot of wolf pack members (would love a Seth! Sam, Quil, Paul, and Jared as well!) are still open, as well as Carlisle and Esme. :) Nearly all of the Volturi and most of the new vampires introduced in Breaking Dawn are available as well!

We are canon-compliant up to Eclipse. We are incorporating a few elements from Breaking Dawn into the game, but not the birth of the Nessie monster.

The game is in Trueblood universe set in Neveda. And you really don't need to read the books or watch the shows to play in the game!

Minor details of the wanted character is that he's a University student with Yuna, so he's 22 or 23. He's Korean like Yuna. And I'd respect if he wasn't a fangbanger. He can be from any species. I want to build up the relationship but if you want to go directly into the relationship, that's also fine!

What lengths would you go to to protect the human race?

Scientist Robert Hills went to the ends of the Earth. Having lost his wife to a vampire in 1896, Hills embarked on a mission to find a weakness in the race. He discovered a whole lot more.

Appalled by the underworld he had uncovered, Hills fled to America where he founded The Guild - a secret organisation held in the heart of Maine. For years he worked on building its foundations, testing his theories on various genetic and scientific advances. Having managed to prolong his life and find the "key to immortality", he set about recruiting various members to his ranks to rival the dark forces against the human race. These individuals were altered thanks to Hills' scientific breakthroughs. Their DNA was changed to incorporate special abilites, heighten their natural instincts. With his help and constant monitoring, these individuals formed the battlefront of the Guild and fought the darker elements to protect innocent people.

Years have gone by and still the Guild are strong, but despite their best efforts the demons keep coming to haunt them and give them trouble. Recently they discovered the Brethren, a council of the oldest creatures, who hold the key to the undead's survival against the Guild, and who need to be destroyed if the human race is to live beyond the year...

As far as the current generation is concerned, Lumotech World Trust has always been there. It is the hand of power behind every government act and every aid program - including their suppression. In this 2009, in this Chicago not unlike our own, the rift between rich and poor is widening to accommodate capitalist virtues pushed to the extreme. There are no taxes but there is no government aid of any kind either. The poor are left to scrape by without access to education, healthcare or jobs, while the rich grow ever more fearful of their own shadow. Unrest is growing in both Chicago slums and university auditoriums. People want their democracy back but those in power are not inclined to relinquish their hold on leadership so easily.

Picking a side is not a choice but a necessity. Those caught in the middle are always the first to perish.
