WHAT: After a night of ice cream, puppets, and wrangling small children, these two take a moment to discuss the state of their relationship (or lack thereof).

What: Gideon is injured in the attack on Ottery St. Catchpole, and takes Miriam up on her offer to help out if he needs it.
When: Around 1:30 a.m., Sunday night/Monday morning
Where: Miriam's flat
Rating: E for Emo.

( It would have been simple enough to make the excuse that he was at his sister's house, and he'd gone to help with the trouble when it broke out...but all he could think was that he had to see Miriam. )

WHO: Miriam Strout & Gideon Prewett
WHEN: Backlog! A proper first meeting, early May, 1979.
WHERE: St Mungo's Wizarding Hospital.
WHAT: Gideon is That Guy, AKA the one who hits on pretty Healers. Miriam is a pretty Healer (and rather delighted by That Guy).

When: Monday, 11th of January
Where: Diagon Alley to the Burrow
What: Hope gets news of her brother's death; Gideon decides to find his friend.
Rating: PG, maybe, but more like S for SAD.

( He was left to ask himself the question he always asked himself when some kind of emotional crisis erupted: What would Molly do?  )

As we discussed in chat a while back, it would be far preferable (and lots easier) if we just had one post where everyone could comment with the Christmas presents that their characters are sending to various other characters. That way we don't absolutely flood the friendspages over the next few days with Christmas owls, and it's also a nice handy-dandy reference place.

What: After the perfect distraction from the DMLE holiday party, Dor and Gid spend their late night having gingersnaps and ciders.

what Gideon and Felicity go out for a fun night, which turns into a bit more than Felicity could have bargained for. And Gid gets beer spit on him.

Setting: Friday evening at The Library, a muggle pub in Devon
Summary: After Gideon excuses himself from public life, Fil ropes him into going out for drinks before she forgets what he looks like. And then make the unanimous decision to devote their lives to piracy.
Ratings: PG-13, language and threats of pillaging.

( Gideon and Filemina had been mocking each other since they were about twelve or so years old, and it seemed to work out just as well over a decade later. Certainly better than any amount of behaving even remotely seriously in the midst of this very serious world. )

Characters: Frank Longbottom and Gideon Prewett
Setting: Evening of 30th September at the Longbottom residence
Summary: Frank comes home after a long day of being a manly Auror and checks up on Gideon.
Rating: PG-13 for BAD WORDZ

Why: The Death Eaters want the Shield of Gryffindor and the Order isn't letting it go without a fight.
Rating: PG-13/R Lots of violence and a bit of language.
Status: Complete!

Summary: The vigilantes have their usual Friday lunch together and discuss work and Order business.

Summary: Dorcas and Gideon chitchat and work on getting over their respective romantic woes.

Summary: Manly Men are Manly!

Setting: Miriam's place, late evening
Summary: It's been a good week, and a good night, and Gideon reaches a conclusion.
Rating: G. These two are pretty Disney.

( It was funny - when she threw herself into his arms like that, he didn't think even a little bit about the war. For once, the Order and Voldemort and all of the death and misery that had been stalking everyone lately just slipped right out of his mind. Gideon had all of himself in this moment, and it was pleasantly, perfectly separate from all the pain out there outside of this flat. )

Setting: The Hogshead, Hogsmeade; BACKDATED to Saturday the 8th
Summary: Hanging out at the bar while Gideon waits for the big news, occasionally tormenting fellow journal users.
