There have been small problems but nothing that shook the Wizarding World the way the Dark Lord had done. As the world moves on, kids grow up, leave school and start there own lives. Nothing seems to be going wrong, no one is focusing on much past there own lives. That's until June 5th, 2031. The quiet Friday morning was rudely taken away as Diagon Alley crumbled, the entire area pulled down into the earth, by noon that day all that was left were the ruins of what used to be one of the center pieces for the Wizarding World. The only building still standing is Gringotts. The Minster, Patrick O'leary informed the public that the attack indeed wasn't attack, but merely an earth quake. That was a lie. It was in fact it was someone else that crashed Diagon Alley into the ground. Hundreds died, more were wounded. As everyone thought it was just a terrible tragedy, it was when the Minister died, by what most knew was old age, however there were the few conspiracy theories tossed around. As Carslie MacDougal became the Minister, those that opposed him in Scotland threatened to pull away from the Ministry and create there own governing country. It was the day that one of the leaders of the Scottish rebellion was murdered in Hogsmeade by witnesses, that Minister MacDougal showed his true colors. Anyone who spoke against the Minster was to be arrested. While in some cases the Quidditch League still carried on, there were still jobs to be had, Diagon Alley was to be re-built, the peaceful world that had once been was gone. The laws were strict, those the were in search of power sided with the Minister, while those against slowly started to form secret groups. The meeting places had to move all the time. Which side do you fall under? The Ministry? -- The Rebellion? -- Perhaps you'll stay out of it, live your life as nothing has happened. Careful, there are deaths all around, not by blood, or status, but by whatever the Minister so decides. In response to the growing threat of super-powered villains, the American S.H.I.E.L.D. organization has taken the initiative to produce the first government sanctioned “super-hero” the Avengers. Meanwhile, despite mounting public distrust, philanthropist Charles Xavier continues his efforts towards peaceful mutant-human relations with his X-Men and his school for young mutants in Westchester, New York. At the Muir Island research facility a subsidiary of the X-Men team has been formed by geneticist Moira MacTaggert, calling itself Excalibur. [ July 5th, 2009 @ 5:13pm ] hogwartsacademy Twenty two miles to the north of London lies Hogwarts School for Boys and Girls, one of the finest schools England has to offer. For years, the social and financial elite have sent their children to Hogwarts, a school comparable to Eton. Excellence is the ultimate goal of Hogwarts, making them leaders in academics, arts, music, theater and especially sports. In more recent years, specifically under Headmaster Albus Dumbledore, Hogwarts School has made strides to diversify its student population. Scholarships were set up and in just ten years Hogwarts had become a much more diverse place of learning. The entrance exam and interview were still stringent, even for an eleven year old, and Hogwarts still was a school for the cream of the crop of the UK and Ireland. After acceptable entrance marks, applicants meet with the Headmaster or Headmistress and the heads of the Hogwarts Houses to determine a house match. Rigorous academics, sports and all aside, Hogwarts is a school like any other, full of teenagers. Gossip, rumors and weekend debauchery happen, and with some big names and big money at the school, it can happen on a very grand scale. There is no Voldemort, no Death Eaters, and the only war now is being waged in the Middle East. Hogwarts Academy is simply a school full of children preparing for university. Characters at Hogwarts Academy are based off of the Marauder Era characters of Harry Potter, but twisted, tweaked and updated to the present day. For example, the Black in the books family were "practically royalty" among the purebloods. Well, nothing much has changed: Sirius and his family are among the old English aristocracy, and all of them are in line for the throne. Professional Quidditch players are distributed among the sports, and are the all-star athletes of the team. Purebloods can be best equated with old money families, and Muggle Borns are likely scholarship students, are have no legacy preceding them at Hogwarts Academy. That was the night Sirius Black died, the night the Prophecy was destroyed, and the night the Ministry finally admitted that Voldemort had returned. But something else happened that night, something the Ministry never released. Many of the rooms in the Department of Mysteries were damaged, but the Time Turner room was completely destroyed. 1 July 1996. Exactly one week after that fateful night at the Ministry, a stranger arrives in the Department of Mysteries claiming to be from 24 February 1980. Only after Albus Dumbledore interviews this stranger do they realise that this was the night the Prophecy was made. With each day that passes, more people arrive, some who have been dead for the past sixteen years. No one can explain it, and no one can stop it. The dark lord has been destroyed by Harry Potter and the wizarding world rejoiced. The end of the war brought change to the wizarding world, mostly for the better. People, especially muggle borns, no longer live in fear. The ministry has been thoroughly cleaned and is up and running, making themselves ready for elections in the spring. The death eaters have been rounded up and some sent to prison but others who claimed to be Imperiused or coerced into service have been released with a pardon and a show of goodwill towards all men. Rodolphus Lestrange at the loss of his wife, claimed the imperius curse and is now working to serve the ministry to prove what he can do for society. He stepped into the political arena speaking for the unity of the wizarding world and has become quite popular with his show of intellect and concern for its well-being. Things are not always as they seem. Now that he has won the title of Minister of Magic, changes are coming. After the final battle of Hogwarts, many parents complained to the Ministry Department of Education. Their children did not graduate, nor did they complete exams or get a proper education. There was talk of boycotting the school, forcing it to close. The ministry, and new headmistress, Minerva McGonagal, came up with a plan. They would offer an 8th year to those who should have finished to see that they could get a proper year of schooling and complete everything they needed to. They would have extra liberties as they would be of age as well. Most parents responded favorably and have agreed to send their children to finish the year properly. For those who could not attend, it is also their chance to make up for what they had lost, welcomed back with open arms and an apology from the school and the ministry. Everything seems to be going well, but good and evil do go hand in hand and there are forces at work both at Hogwarts and in the Ministry as the dark side tries to reclaim power over the wizarding world. It is often difficult to see who is on what side, but the dark lord's fellowship is alive and well, building up enough momentum until they can rise again. post comment

Though the so-called Golden Age of King Char and Queen Ella is long over- so long ago now that few are still alive who can remember it- life continues on much as it ever did. Merchants travel the lands far and wide, finding new and exotic goods to bring back to Greenville, the town just outside the royal palace. Greenville's markets are thriving, and most of the town's inhabitants pay little mind to the castle looming in the distance. That is, of course, until The Gray Death appears. There is no known cure. Sufferers initially feel very weak, and are soon not even able to get out of bed. Overcome by fever, their complexions turn gray and they die. Still, Greenville believes it is safe- there are just rumors of the illness, and being so close to the castle, they're safe, right? Wrong. The illness knows no boundaries, a fact that is brought starkly to light when the King of Frell contracts the disease and dies a short time later. The King leaves behind a land in limbo- his wife, the Queen, is trying her level best to keep power from the hands of their immature son. Heroes search for a cure, trying to avenge their fallen King. And life in Greenville continues on, if a bit more cautiously. Happily ever after was never a guarantee. Fair is an original character role playing game inspired by Ella Enchanted, Fairest, and The Two Princesses of Bamarre by Gail Carson Levine. A loyal knight with many years of service, Domenic is well-respected within the community- and much missed by his younger sister. Bess Guidon is missing her husband, Sir Tristan. Bess is apprenticed to the town's healer- who, himself, is sick with the Gray Death. If that wasn't enough, her marriage seems to be on the rocks- Tristan seems to love her much more than she loves him, despite how he bends over backward to make her happy. Ginger and Lavender Thornburgh are missing their younger brother, Gareth. He works in the family's herb shop, but the girls have a feeling he isn't quite happy with the domestic life. Abigail Hall is just starting to get her life together, finally- she's Abigail Madison now, having recently married her childhood sweetheart, after ten years apart. But one thing still haunts her- her missing younger sister, Eleanor. The two were separated as children, and Abby still wonders what became of her. Madame Besoir is not well-respected in the community, per se, but she is definitely well-feared. An intimidating woman, the owner of the local brothel, she's power-hungry and not to be trifled with. At least, she'd like to think so. Serenity Somerset escaped her life of privilege some ten years ago, and has been working as a barmaid ever since. She's settled well into her new life, but her sisters Grace, Hope, Faith, Blythe and Verity Somerset are still out there, somewhere, and it can't be long before her past catches up with her. Lady Agnes Bennett, the Queen's niece, was born deaf. She's been kept heavily secluded from the rest of the castle, and only a few know of her condition- including her servants, Ginger and Marta. Twins Genevieve and Penelope Brisbois are missing their older brother, Bernard. Hardly the man of the family, Bernard caters to their mother's every whim- he's a bit of a dandy, but he does aim to please. post comment

Everything’s been quiet and uneventful. The Cullens still reside in Forks, and the treaty between the wolves and them remains strong. Jacob and Sam are still Alphas in separate packs, with Leah, Seth, Quil and Embry in Jacob’s pack. It looks like things have finally settled down nicely. But what they don’t know is that the Volturi isn’t planning on backing down just yet. Aro wants his hands on Alice, Bella, Edward and even little Renesmee. But they have to be very careful.
