dunhaven; ooc community

I've been procrastinating this, but I'm gonna make it short and sweet. I'm going to be dropping Gwyn (justenoughnerve). I've just been struggling with her muse and want to focus on the ones that are coming more easily. The story will be that she's gotten a teaching job a few hours away where the PE teacher/soccer coach left suddenly. You're all welcome to NPC any mention of her if you find it necessary. <3

I need an intervention.

But since one has yet to be staged, I have a new character! This is Jade Reed (aka, Megara). She's Josie's little sister (she scoffs at "little") and is almost exactly a year younger and thus is a Junior at Dunhaven High. The two are extremely close when not driving each other crazy. She has a big personality. Very queen bee and has quite the ego, but she's not mean or cruel. She knows she's amazing, but she thinks other people should realize how amazing they are, too. Even though she can be a lot little full of herself, she is a great friend to have if you can ignore her quirks.

She wants to be an actress, model, and fashion designer, runs a moderately successful (for a small town, esp) YouTube channel that is mostly makeup tutorials, but she also does opinion and review videos, too. She also sells her own fashion designs on Etsy. She made her homecoming dress and would've volunteered to make any of her friends' outfits, too. She's a cheerleader and big into drama. She wants to join the Renn Faire cast eventually, though her big dreams involve New York or LA in the long run.

Tying into her Megara side, she is very confident and sassy, but she's jaded about men already. No one knows this, not even Josie, but she had a boyfriend before sophomore year that she thought she loved and thought loved her. He pushed her to have sex and then dumped her a week later. Slightly more detailed version in her bio, if anyone would like to fill that role. He would've graduated from Aurelius in May. She's had a string of casual NPC boyfriends since then.

And someone should play Hercules now. *nod*

Hiiiiiiiiii, guys! Typing this on my phone because the cat has decided I'm not allowed to get up and she's laying on me, so please forgive any typos!

I've got two coming in! First is this dude, Legolas, aka Lennox Archer. He'll have been around back and forth for about a year, but only just became a permanent fixture. He's opened a campground outside of Dunhaven, with day activities and lodging and tent areas for longer visits. EVERYTHING is as eco-friendly as humanly possible. It'll have just opened to the public, but he's probably been talking to a lot of people in town, to staff it or to contract with them for activities (Nick for boat rentals and tours, Lyllianna for horseback riding).

Also, everyone needs to look at his app. Seriously, go look at it right now. It's the best app ever.

Secondly, I'm bringing in Francis Lyon (frahncis) who is actually Francis from Reign, here to mess things up for Annie and Alex lol. I'd love for him to have a love interest develop either now, the drama with Annie there to cause trouble, or after. He's an artist from England and will be brand new to the area, so he'll need to make friends, but he's super sweet. He's going to be into woodworking (his favorite thing is building canoes and small sailboats), metalworking, jewelery making, and more, and will get involved with the Ren Faire later on.

So, throw some plots at them!

Who wants to talk me into another person? My fandoms are limited, but I'm far more comfortable in this scenario of not having to technically write the character so I'm willing to branch out. Just gotta make it compelling. And......... GO.

Hello! I'm Jaclyn, and I know a lot of you, I think? But it's been about a year since I've existed and some of you were new friends then, so brief introductions: I'm 27, a mom of a 5yo who is both the best and worst thing in my life depending on how much sleep she got the night before ;), and I also have the honor of being Jamie's cousin. The fact that we both RP was an awesome coincidence only discovered about five years of me being at it, but she introduced me to journal games (LJ at the time) and I haven't really looked back.

I bring you Gwyn Waters, a.k.a., Ginny Weasley. (Or Ginny Potter. Depends on the memory haha.) Also a.k.a. Nick Waters' favorite little sister. A small handful of people can call her Gwynnie and her grandmother insists on still calling her Maya, but for most it's just Gwyn. Brief summary is that she's 23 and went to all the public schools, graduating DHS in 2012. She was always the lanky tomboy type growing up, mainly doing soccer and swimming, but dabbling in all sorts of other sports, too. (Including an archery hobby.) She was Nick's shadow when she was little and idolized him (still does). By middle school she ended up being bullied a lot, ignored by others, and withdrew, culminating in a pedo targeting her online in a chatroom. (Tom Riddle's diary, anyone?) That nearly went south, but Nick saved her.

After that, she got into therapy, sort of had a rebirth, learned to love herself, and once high school came she made friends and got somewhat popular. However, she had no time for fakes, so anyone who actively bullied her would always have been on her shit list and she would have been picky enough with anyone else. I'd love for her to have some friends from high school within her age range. She didn't care about clique or label or being in the same year, so there's flexibility so long as they were a good person. In high school, she dated Maxon Winters through all of freshman through junior year, but ended it before he went into the military. They're still really good friends. She would have dated casually her senior year if asked to things, but mainly let herself heal.

After high school, she went away to the University of Virginia, but visited home a lot and moved home in the summers. She graduated a semester early, but while in school she sustained a broken ankle that ended her dreams of a pro soccer career. Now she lives at home and is a personal trainer working for/with Vee. She also helps out at the boat rental shop when she doesn't have too many clients.

Looking for friends (especially if someone wanted to give me a Luna in her year to be the quirky childhood friend who was always there even when Gwyn pushed her away), enemies, possible romances (anyone wanna pick up a Harry muse? *winkwinknudgenudge*), wartime allies anything else. She's the type who would just strike up a friendship chatting with the cashier at a local business, etc. Hit me up!
