Hi, all! It's Terri. As Jeanne already explained on her recent intro, we are all up in our feels about Alex's departure from GA, so we're bringing Jolex here to give them happiness since their lives are probably going to become a dumpster fire on the show.

This is Embry Marshall, who is going to be dreaming of Jo Wilson Karev. She has had a few medical-type dreams, but nothing specifically relating to Jo yet! She is the only daughter of the Marshall family, and the third eldest child! She is going to be 29 in March, and will shortly thereafter marry her fiance, Gideon Fischer.

Embry was kind of a child prodigy in academics, particularly in science and math. She skipped several grades and graduated Dunhaven High School in 2006 at fifteen as Salutatorian, just behind Angie Phillips. She had several college credits already under her belt when she left high school to attend Dunhaven University in the nursing program. She graduated as an RN after five semesters, just before she turned eighteen.

From there, she went to Philadelphia. She worked at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and attended the University of Pennsylvania to earn her certification as a nurse practitioner, specifically with a focus in being a midwife. She had a really horrible relationship when she was in Philly, and came home still pretty heartbroken, but she immediately focused on her work and she's a damn good midwife.

Em has been with Gideon since 2016, and after several failed proposals, they finally got engaged in 2018. She's actually pretty darn excited to be marrying him soon. She also has her eye on like ALL of you because she knows what happens during snow storms.

So yeah! She should be pretty well-connected all things considered. :) Throw what you have my way! I'm always up for bingos and plotting with any of mine!

New Character! This is Verity McKinnon who will be moonlighting as Carol Danvers|Captain Marvel from the MCU. She has only been in Dunhaven since December 2018, when she retired from active duty from the United States Air Force after a decade of service. She was raised in DC, but spent some time in Dunhaven as a teen thanks to meeting her best friend, Dahlia Liang. Verity is the older sister of Miles McKinnon, who will eventually be in game, and the step-sister of Ian Rhinehart as of about seventeen years of age (she's twenty-eight now.) After her retirement, Verity joined the Virginia Air National Guard, and also gives pilot lessons privately as well as volunteering for a group that rescues animals in need and flies them to safe destinations where they'll be fostered or taken care of. She is openly bisexual and a pretty outgoing person so it's likely that she's interacted with various people about town. She's still sort of adapting to civilian life.

So, I'm open to pretty much anything! Exes, people she's just met recently, people she might have run into before she enlisted, etc! Let me know! :)

Heyyyy all! Terri here, bringing in two new ones this time. I'll try to keep it somewhat brief.

Tallulah Waters

She can be found at this journal, and her profile is here.

The youngest Waters sibling at 19 years old. She graduated from Dunhaven High in 2017, and immediately went to cosmetology school in DC, finishing after about a year.

Has had a station set at Miss Belle's since she left school last summer. She specializes in coloring, style, and make-up. She's a very good listener, and something of a therastylist. A fan of all things fashion and beauty.

Tallulah keeps herself incredibly busy. Other than her job, she's involved in the local community theater, the Renaissance Faire, and the roller derby!

Very bubbly and charismatic. Tends to wear her heart on her sleeve, but has been a little more reserved in the last few years since her dad died. Friendly, loyal, passionate, and a little self-indulgent, but overall a good person to have on your side.

The middle child of five, Air Force family, relatively wealthy, and now 25 years old. He graduated from Aurelius in 2011, and was involved in lacrosse. He attended Clemson University for landscaping architecture and visited during the breaks.

Owns his own landscaping business. Grow With The Flow Landscaping and Greenhouse opened in 2014 when he returned to Dunhaven after college. He does anything from basic lawn maintenance to fancy landscaping jobs, and snow removal in the winter. The greenhouse that he tends with his business is open for limited hours for those that just want to buy flowers. He has a few people that work for him if anyone is interested in a job, part-time or otherwise.

Foster is outgoing, funny, creative, stubborn, and a very hard worker. He loves to joke around and is generally a nice guy.

He's been dating Lorelei Waters for almost a year, and they're super cute.

Moonlights as Frank Longbottom from Harry Potter, though he hasn't been super forthcoming with those details to anyone other than Lorelei and a couple of trusted friends.

Hiii. It’s Terri. I waited to do this because I had so many newbies.

Zoya Nikolaeva: relinquished At 25, she is the youngest sibling and only sister of Mikhail and Alex Nikolaev. She grew up in Duluth, MN, but went to Athena Academy and stayed in Dunhaven until about 3 years ago. Her best friend was Elijah Marshall, and they married when they were 18. Things went awry, and despite still loving him, she separated from him in 2015. She’s just now returning to Dunhaven, and will likely be around a while even though she doesn’t know that yet! Her canon is Rey from Star Wars! She is very much at her heart a girl who fears being alone and being abandoned. She is quiet and sweet and has a good sense of humor. She is a good friend to have, and hopefully she can strike up with old acquaintances.

Jebediah Hopkins: gravitational He is the owner and head cook of Grandma’s, which means that he probably knows like...everyone. Lol. He spends most of his time at the diner, especially now that his goddaughter/niece, whom he raised from the time she was eleven, is now grown. He is nice enough, but not overly warm with most people. He doesn’t like his generosity pointed out and is mildly allergic to emotions. He can be a bit standoffish and reserved, but he’s really loyal. He’s sarcastic and it takes time to get close to him. His canon is Jim Hopper from Stranger Things. He’s kind of a teddy bear like Hopper, even if he won’t admit it.

Morrighan Kane: madeforwar Morrighan is not your little ray of sunshine. She’s hardened, angry, prone to foul language, and morally ambiguous at best. She is also endlessly loyal, intelligent, intuitive, creative, and fiercely terrified of being vulnerable enough to let anyone hurt her. She is a bit of a wild card, and only her best friends can really keep her in check. She is softest with them and in little ways, she makes sure that she lets them know that she cares even if she can sometimes be harsh. She’s a local tattoo artist, and very good at her job. She’s had a pretty traumatic past. She attended Athena, and is 21. She also has dreams in a Seer type fashion, though she very rarely talks about them or actually makes use of them. She gives exactly zero shits as to whether or not anyone believes her about them. Her canon is Ronan Lynch from The Raven Cycle. Her AU very closely reflects his life.

Hey, all. It's Terri and I'm back again already with this asshole.

Noah Ritter [Tobias Eaton from Divergent] is a 26 year old Columbia University graduate from Manhattan and the co-owner of Black Swordsman Games. He is the older brother of Eve Ritter and best friend of Niall Malone. He's not really that much of an asshole, but he can be if the mood strikes him. He is independent, smart, driven, passionate, and incredibly stubborn. He has trust issues and doesn't allow people close to him most of the time. Even though he has trouble keeping sarcastic remarks to himself and isn't incredibly into interacting with people, he is the one that handles daily operations of his business and often the one that ends up talking to people about it. As long as things don't get personal, Noah doesn't typically have a problem carrying a civil conversation.

He is a gamer, a geek, and a cos-player. He finds it hilarious when people do double takes at him because he's dorky and handsome at the same time. Noah is also into solitary fitness activities and makes a point to run at least one marathon a year on top of teaching frequent self-defense classes locally. He is more comfortable with being alone or in small groups than he is with being in a room full of people, and plays his cards close to the chest. He has been in Dunhaven for seven-ish or so months now, but there are probably still people that haven't met him seeing as he doesn't really make it a point to go to many social events unless otherwise coerced.

SO! Throw plots at him if you wanna! We can figure out acquaintances and friends or people that might have taken self-defense with him or just have seen him out running while he ignores everyone in favor of his headphones. He's a good friend to have once you can get past his defenses.

Hiiiii, everyone! It's Terri again, bringing you Dorothy "Dottie" Darling with a canon of Luna Lovegood from HP! She is the second triplet with Abigail and Tessa (still to come!)

Dottie is a 26 year old accessories designer from New York, and she has basically built a fashion empire with her sister, Tessa. The Darling girls couldn't stay out of the spotlight. She is a graduate of Parsons in NYC and is very smart despite the fact that she has her head in the clouds like 96.4% of the time. She still very much buys into 90's nostalgia and enjoys coloring books and Build-A-Bear. She is an absolute fucking delight, but also tends towards the quirky side. She is very much Luna at her soul, and marches to the beat of her own drum without caring whether it bothers anyone else or not. She is incredibly loyal and honest, but she won't compromise her values, either.

After having spent most of her time since she was a teenager either working or going to school, she and her sisters finally decided it was time to take things a little slower for a while. They will be invading Dunhaven and living the small-town life for pretty much the first time. She has had a hard time making close friends in the past because of her unique view on life, but she is very friendly and desires companionship. She will likely join in activities around town and try to get to know people. Dottie is very open and accepting of people, and she would like all the friends. :)

I am open for all the things! Friends, people who find her exceedingly weird, people who follow her on Instagram or wear her designs or think they're tacky. All the plots! If anyone wants to pick up more HP characters, too, I don't think anyone will complain. ;)

Hiiii! This is Terri. I'm using this intro as dual because....I never intro'd Alee officially on accident, and maybe she'll get more connections out of this too!

First of all, this is Sebastian Kingswood. Most people in town just know him by Bash, though he'll (somewhat begrudgingly) accept Sebastian in a more formal setting. Bash is a Lieutenant at the local Sheriff's office, and has been with them since he was still in college getting his Criminal Justice degree. He has also been a nobleman at the Ren Faire for the past several seasons. He's 26 (almost 27) years old, and moved to Dunhaven when he was 10 because his father sent him off to attend Aurelius Academy. His dad said he just wanted him to have the best education available to him, but it's no coincidence that his departure from Maine coincided with the birth of his first half-sibling. He is an extremely hard worker, blindly loyal to his closest friends, and kind of a goofball at heart, though he definitely has his brooding moments. He is originally from Maine, and still goes back there to visit his family several times a year but has no plans to leave Dunhaven. He has been BFFs with Alex Nikolaev since they were 10, and after an originally lackluster start, he and Denver Meadows became best friends circa. 2011-ish. He has also been roommates with Annie Scott for several years, and miiiiiight be buying her house when she abandons him to marry his best friend (he can't even be mad.) Bash is friendly and generally gets along with most people, but he doesn't seek close friendships often. He will never let anyone outside of his closest friends abuse his generosity, and he trusts those closest to him NOT to do that to him in the first place.

Secondly, at mechanical, I have Aleida Grant. Alee is 23 and a new arrival to Dunhaven, only having been here for a few weeks even though she's already managed to become part of the rumor mill. She's the youngest sister of Sarah Grant, and has been crashing with her with no immediate plans to leave. Alee is curious and has a free spirit. She's pretty opinionated, likes long-term goals, can be somewhat abrasive (though still compassionate,) and loves her family more than anything. She has traveled around the U.S. the last few years, living a mostly nomadic existence where she never stayed anywhere longer than a couple of weeks. She is a trained mechanic, and has already gotten on with the local car garage, so if your character needs anything fixed up, let her know! She's all about that. She's kind of a Jill of All Trades. In addition to mechanics, she is a skilled gymnast, loves rock climbing, and has recently discovered an affinity for horseback riding and archery (thanks to her canon-self.) She has already taken up with Lennox Archer, and knows Eve Ritter from New York! She's become a frequent visitor of Northwind Stables and Camp Sylvester. I would love, love, love more friends for her! :D

I'm working on filling out a quick reference guide for my people and TRYING to distract myself from the temptation of more characters, so anyone want to log???

I don't currently have logs planned for Oceana, Danielle, or Lyllianna, but any of mine are fair game if someone else is calling to anyone! :D I'm down for just about anything, and multiple is fine! I don't really have much going on. lol.

Hey, all! It's Terri again. I waited to do this intro until I had both of my newbies in game, and I'll see if I can keep this somewhat concise. :)

First up is Lyllianna Stone. She goes by Lyllia mostly, but will also accept Lylli or her full name. She is at this journal, and she's originally Lyanna Stark from Game of Thrones. Do NOT read her profile if you don't want some spoilers for GOT, but hopefully if you care deeply about that, it's been a few weeks and you're caught up already. ;) She is a 30 year old native of Dunhaven and was born into the Winters family. She is the Aunt of Maxon Winters and his younger sister, though she's only about 5 years older than Max. It is an important note that Max calls her Lyla, but she basically won't answer that from anyone else. It was what he called her when he couldn't get all the syllables of her name when he was little.

Lyllia is married to Theodore Stone, and he will be in game once Chel finishes him. :) Their relationship was something of a scandal in town as it began with an affair, but things have been public for a while now. She owns and is an instructor at Northwind Trails and Stables, so if anyone wants horseback riding lessons or to go on trail rides, kids or adults, just let her know! She also boards some horses that she doesn't own, so let me know if any of yours have one there! She's conveniently located about 15 minutes or so out of town in the countryside and lives out there with Theodore. Lyllia is a tomboy who loves lipstick. She is stubborn, smart, passionate, and willful. She's ultra protective over her family, and is extremely hardworking. She loves working with flowers and her house is something of a floral oasis. She's fiery and opinionated, and sometimes says things that make old ladies clutch their pearls.

Next up is Danielle Drake bendtheknee. She is originally Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones. I couldn't resist. Danielle rarely lets anyone shorten her name. She is 25 years old and originally from San Diego, California. She moved to Dunhaven 3 years ago following tragic circumstances. Her story isn't really a happy one. Her mother died in childbirth, and her father was an abusive asshole. She was shifted through foster homes as a child along with her older brother, who hated her and took after their father. She only had some stability when her brother aged out of the system and she went to the same high school for all four years. She attended UCLA, and met a man that she would fall in love with and marry within six months. They truly, deeply loved one another, and were happy during the years that she finished her college education. Only a month after her graduation, he was in a violent mugging and she ended up a very young widow. That was when she packed up her life and moved to Dunhaven. Staying in California was too difficult for her.

She is a social worker and works any and all cases here in the area. She works with kids and the elderly alike. She makes certain that she is their advocate no matter the other circumstances. Despite the kind of upbringing that she had, Danielle is a kind and strong person. She was downtrodden for a long time, but she really developed a confidence in herself during her short marriage. She is stubborn and she sees things as very black and white, but once you're her friend, she is deeply loyal and grateful so she'll do just about anything for you. She has a sarcastic sense of humor and is not naturally forgiving after the kind of life that she's had, so people typically only get one chance with her. She values honesty above most other things, and is very invested in protecting herself from future heartbreak, so she has some pretty high walls that people have to break through to get to her. She's a sweet person, and is known for volunteering in the community and taking in strays. She kept three orphaned kittens that she bottlefed. Her babies. ;)

Hello, all! This is Terri. I've gotten horribly behind on commenting on intro posts, but I'm hoping to go back and remedy that today. Better late than never, right? In the meantime, I wanted to go ahead and intro this lady. (tl;dr folks, her personality break down is by the ***)

Oceana Ridgeway is Annie Cresta from the Hunger Games. She is a newcomer to Dunhaven, as in she's just moving in and hasn't really gotten around to telling anyone she's here yet, though you may have seen her moving into Arbor Crossing Apt 101 if you were in the area. That being said, the only people who would know her before now are those who were in the Tampa, Florida area from 1991 to 2009, New York City or surrounding area from 2009 to May 2016, and finally Virginia Beach from summer 2016 to present.

Oceana (who will allow people to shorten her name to Ocee, but little else) was born in Florida to a teenage mother, and adopted as an infant by a couple who would divorce when she was still young. She was raised primarily by her single father after her adoptive mother left them both. She and her dad are best buds, and he did everything he could to send her to art schools from the time she was five onwards. She ended up in Juilliard for Dance and found work dancing in stage shows as part of the ensemble for several years post-grad. In May '16, she was in a pretty horrific car accident that decidedly ended her professional dance career. Her dad moved her to Virginia Beach and assisted with her rehabilitation while she recovered from her injuries. She still has some pain and problems from the crash, including some jumpiness, nightmares, and PTSD triggers from the crash which actually may or may not get worse when she starts emerging with memories as Annie. Now that she's healed, she's going to be teaching dance here in Dunhaven. Not just ballet, either. She's trained in contemporary and just about anything you could desire, so adults or children alike who are looking to dance? She's your gal.

*** She is extremely forgiving and feels things strongly. She empathizes with people, and tends to be very driven towards her goals. She overcomes fear like it's something to conquer (which is why her lingering impact of her crash frustrates her greatly.) She isn't exactly a charismatic person, but she's nice and puts in effort to try to make friends. She tends to withdraw into herself when she's facing problems rather than asking for help, particularly when these issues aren't something she can cure with forgiveness. She will be seen walking around with headphones in a lot, she loves to swim, and if you want an awkward turtleduck friend who laughs during serious moments, you've found her.

I can never make these things short...but if you made it through the tl;dr portion, congratulations! If you feel like your person would like to be friends with Ocee, or at least be in her general sphere of acknowledgement, please let me know! Fellow dancers? If we can work up a past connection, that's great too!

Hi, all! It’s Terri. I’m bringing three to the table right now with no plans for additional ones at the moment, but we all know how that goes.

REMINGTON STEELE: (Remus Lupin from Harry Potter, chocolatier) She is named after GUNS, and not a 1980’s television series. Her parents were woefully unaware when they named her. Her father, Harrison Steele, is a Virginian Senator, and basically #theworst in private, though he puts on a great face for the voting public. Remington has a lot of trust and self-esteem issues because of him and at moments is really quite fragile. She is reserved and doesn’t have a lot of close friends aside from Jahan and Calla Puri, and Vee Rodriguez (with the exception of a Peter, should we get one!) She’s very close to her sister, Sage, but she doesn’t let most people see past her exterior. She is smart, she loves to read, she fights for the underdog, and rarely makes choices for herself, but rather for the good of others. Remington did attend culinary school and is a certified pastry chef. She loves to cook, but especially loves baking and crafting with chocolate. She works at Sweet Nothings and makes most of the cakes, pastries, and chocolates served there. She’s also an unexperienced and closeted lesbian who has only ever dated men and hasn’t admitted to anyone outloud, including herself, what her preferences are.

FINNLEY PARKER: (Felicity Smoak from Arrowverse, prattles) From a family with old-old-old-old money, Finnley has never been required to work for much of anything, even though she’s chosen to do so simply because she isn’t comfortable doing nothing with her life. She has All The Money (™) and usually chooses to spend on practical things like a home, a building for her business, and services like a housekeeper and groundskeeper (because she fails on the domestic front in a truly astounding way.) She is a coupon clipper, enjoys a good sale, and is so hesitant to learn how technology works that her flip phone was only pried from her hands about a year or so ago. She is several generations behind on everything technological, and honestly some people’s grandparents are probably way more tech-savvy than she is. Finnley likes helping people, though, and she has a business as a Counselor/Therapist. She loves what she does, and is quite good at it. She babbles a lot, especially when she’s excited or nervous, (hence her journal name) and likes routine. She eats at The Square pretty much every single night, at the same table, around the same time.

BEAU ALDERMAN: (Barry Allen from The Flash, momentums) A Sophomore at University of Dunhaven, Beau comes from a fairly middle class family with a cop as a father and a seamstress as a mother. His actual name is Beauregard, but he more or less will beg people not to call him that. He loves languages and books, and is fluent in English and French. He grew up playing little league, and he ran track in addition to playing baseball in high school. He has continued to play baseball in college alongside his best friend, Tobias Epstein. He has been dating Josie Reed since his Senior year of high school, and he’s stupidly smitten with her despite their age difference and the doubt and reservations that have come from their parents and others. He is optimistic, a bit hyperactive, and a nice guy who is often volunteering for random community events and tutored several kids in high school. He’s really friendly and it would be nice to have some more connections for him!
