Hi guys, just an update.

I'm home after a very whirlwind yet impossibly long week/weekend. We still don't have internet since that was just not even remotely a priority to fix this week, so it may be another week before we get a new modem/router thanks to the upcoming holiday.

So I'm here but still not as accessible as I'd like to be, but feel free to email or ping me on discord if you want to talk through anything character or plot wise. I may not respond immediately but I will respond. ♥️

Also I've seen the new Star Wars so if anyone wants to discuss it with me, I'm up for it.

Finally fulfilling my promise to Jamie from like...February, lmao. This is Chesa's little sister, Mahalia Navarro, but she goes by Halie and moonlights as Manon Blackbeak from Throne of Glass. She graduated from Athena in 2014 and, for those who would have known her prior to two years ago, was generally a very bubbly, happy person who was involved in lots of extracurriculars like volleyball, theater, and choir. However, once her dreams began, she did a total 180. She's a lot more withdrawn from people now, and snappy, and sarcastic. Her dreams kind of suck, tbh.

For a long time, she helped her uncle out with the farm but recently opened Eye of the Goddess, a new metaphysical shop in Dunhaven that's not been very well-received by some of the community. Between graduate school, the shop, and being out and about with her pitbull, Abraxos, those are pretty much the only places you'll find her.

I am here for all the plots, whether it's friends who've either engaged with her since the dreams started, or survived the transition between who she was and who she is now, or people she butts heads with. Exes are cool. All the things~~

Hi, everyone! This is Rei Hondo, aunt of Sora Hondo-Smith, and will also be moonlighting as Hermione Granger. She is not a Dunhaven native, but rather moved here in 2013 to begin graduate studies at UofD with her daughter and at-the-time husband, Tobias Parker, who is the older brother of Finnley and Charlie. She teaches English at Dunhaven High School (hello fellow teachers!!), likes being involved with the community and spends most weekends at the bookstore and Java Chip with her now two daughters, so there are many ways she could into people in Dunhaven. :3 She and Tobias went through an amicable divorce last year thanks for a lot of reasons, the greatest of which being that they still very much loved each other enough to call it before it turned ugly. So there's no bad blood there, or anything, and it's pretty clear to anyone that's friends with her that her heart still firmly belongs to him.

I'd love friends for her, please!!


Also, in case anyone didn't notice, Waverly Lane (hufflepff) recently received a facelift in the form of a PB change and Canon change (Anna Kendrick and Nymphadora Tonks, respectively). Nothing about her in-game canon has changed except that I took away all the languages she's learned since that was something I had specifically for her previous canon, and she's now studying Psychology instead of History :3 So game connections should all be remaining the same :D

This is Drew Church, younger brother of Hannah Church, who moonlights as Gendry Waters from Game of Thrones (I clearly have a type 🙃🤷).

He's 19, attended Aurelius and graduated in 2018 and is currently studying Business Management at University of Dunhaven. He works with Foster Wentworth at Grow with the Flow and sells the swords and other things he makes as a hobby at Dunhaven's renaissance faire and online. :3 (I know we had someone who used to do that, but I think that character is retired now? I checked bios, so if I missed it and that character is still in play, hmu and we can do something plotty with it!)

Friends include Benjy Wolfe and Finn Rojas. He's also kind of, sort of friends with Aria Winters but they dated and things ended and now it's all just kind of awkward and confusing, as it tends to be lol.

SO YES. Plots? Anything?

HEY ALL. This is Kit and I have one more to round my cast list back out. Meet Denver! She moved here in her first year of middle school and was weird and awkward and quiet and generally unpopular. TBF, she was still semi-dealing with her dad's death, moving to a totally new place, and suddenly having a new mom after her her mother remarried and the new wife (Poppy Cooper, Dunhaven native, and owner of The Square) decided to adopt Denver and her sister, Evan. There was a lot going on! ANYWAY. Once she finally settled into all of the changes in her life and went through a growth spurt that was kind to her, she ended up climbing the social ranks of high school. Eager to be liked and hang onto her new social status, she made a lot of questionable choices including the too often kegger at her house when her moms were off for one culinary convention or another. One of these keggers ended with a drunk driving accident wherein Denver's BFF's little sister was killed and BFF blamed Denver for having created the opportunity for it to happen.

After that, she went back to being more like who she was in middle school only with 1000x less desire to fit in/be liked. She doesn't have a ton of friends but is a good one to have (despite her stupid choices in high school). Her BFF now is Sebastian "Bash" Kingswood and is, in effect, friendly with Alex and Annie & co. She works at Northwind Trails & Stables with Lyllianna Stone as a riding instructor/stable hand. She regularly smells like clove and hay haha. Also, she's not angry all the time, she just has a serious case of RBF.

Anyway! I'd love to figure out her connections (but, again, she's not likely to have many CLOSE friends at the start, though this can change). I'd love to establish her former HS friends, and also fill the line of the former BFF who blames her for her sister's death. This could be Katniss (whose canon line was used to parallel the AU line) or anyone else! ♥

a) Anyone want to work on logs for this month/August with me? I've got two and a half going right now but want all the things.

Hello! This is Kit, one-half of the mod team, and I thought I'd go ahead and introduce the ones I've got added so that this doesn't become more overwhelming once my others are in!

First, there's this girl, VIOLET (TOMA) ADAMS. She is the daughter of the owners of the Flower Girls flower shop and older sister to Calla Puri. In canon, she's Tom Riddle, aka Lord Voldemort. The people of Dunhaven will know her as Violet but, once she sort of broke off from her family and started her own life in D.C., she started going by her middle name, Toma. She's always been the quiet sort, but is really enthusiastic and animated when she's comfortable around you and talking about one of her interests. She owns Antiquary, an odds and ends shop that specializes in classic pieces, and is currently dating Albert Parker which people are probably very confused about because they do not come from the same circles at all. I'll be working through her repairing her relationship with her sister which will likely be impeded by the slow realization that she, you know, canonically murdered Calla and her husband :D I'd love to have old childhood friends, new friends she's made since returning to Dunhaven, and/or anyone she befriended in D.C. who's recently relocated!

I also have BEA PREWETT [stiff] who is canonically Tris Prior from the Divergent series. She's got a complicated history--she was kidnapped as a child and has only vague memories of her birth family that she passes off as memories she invented while bouncing through foster and group homes, and then being a runaway, after she was taken from the woman who kidnapped her (who she still thinks is her real mom). She's 17, a student at DHS, and working part-time at Wilkerson's. She's guarded, runs on sarcasm and mini-donuts, but has a pretty hopeful disposition despite everything. I'll be exploring her trying to find a place to belong, as well as eventually finding out that she has a biological family right here in Dunhaven. I'd love classmates and friendships for her!

ANNIE SCOTT [ofscots] is canonically Mary, Queen of Scots from the CW show Reign. She's the daughter of the local preacher, history teacher at DHS, and involved in the church's children's choir, the renaissance faire, and the local theater troupe. Needless to say, she's super busy--she's even in the process of planning her wedding to Aleksandr Nikolaev! She's pretty open to new friends and always finds time for people if they need her. I'll be exploring the way her canon history conflicts with her Dunhaven AU and how she reconciles what she wants here versus what she thought she couldn't have there. I'd love more friends for her!

And the only other one I have to introduce right now is SAGE STEELE [lattes], who is canonically Sydney Sage from the Vampire Academy / Bloodlines books! She's the second daughter of state senator Harrison Steele and sister to Remington Steele--named after GUNS and FREEDOM, not the TV show character of the same name. By outward appearances, she has the PERFECT family life, but looks can be deceiving. She attended DHS but tutored students at the academies and has always been a pretty intense Type A personality and it's widely known that she can be bribed with coffee. I'd like friends for her, as well, since I don't have much mapped out for her outside of her sister and boyfriend.
