GUESS WHAT, EVERYONE? WE ARE
What this means in character is that Mayor Reed has made an official announcement that the much anticipated Dunhaven Social Network has gone live thanks to the hard work of several techy individuals in the community (possibly involving the Puris, if Emily wants!). The network is basically like facebook for Dunhaven residents and only those with ties to the Dunhaven community can access it. Up until now, people have just generally used the more commonly used networks like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Feel free to make IC posts "from" those types of accounts, too--there are codes for them provided on the mod page. Anything that is posted in the IC comm that isn't marked as a log or other form of communication/social media will be assumed to have been posted on the Dunhaven Social Network.
Just a note--Dunhaven is a small "southern" community which means that it's been an active grapevine since practically its inception in the nineteenth century. Everyone knows everyone else's business--it's both a charm and a curse of small towns. The induction of a social network is likely to just speed that grapevine along. Have fun with that!
