Hey guys, Emily here bringing Jahan back, because I really, really missed him! He is basically the same as he was before--which is to say, he's also basically the same as James Potter, just a Muggle. I changed his last name to Poddar though, becauseeee I read a Tumblr post about race bending James that made me aware of this surname, and I really could not resist. I also changed his job before I had to leave due to my own job craziness, so I never really got to play it out. He is also a detective for Dunhaven PD now, inspired by Kit! I always have a super hard time when playing James or a James-type outside of canon figuring out what he'd do with his life, since, y'know.....he dies super young lol. I think this will bring him more work connections and give me more things to talk about IG :)
Other pertinent details--he moved to Dunhaven from San Jose, CA in 2001. His parents are Silicon Valley tech gurus and helped expand broadband connection and whatever throughout Virginia. Jahan attended Aurelius from 2001-2009. At first super hated Virginia, Dunhaven, and EVERYTHING, having had a hard time adjusting as the new brown kid in school right after 9/11. But then he found his people (Lyra, Remi, aaaand...maybe one day we will get a Peter??? SO MUCH POTENTIAL!). And the rest, as they say, is history. Jahan eventually elbowed and pushed his way into Aurelius fame as a soccer player and prankster, but no one ever quite made their way into his inner circle like his girlfriends. He then studied computer engineering and criminal justice at U of D and joined the Dunhaven PD. He came to super love Dunhaven, obviously, after vowing the day he got here that he'd move back to CA the moment he turned 18. His parents still make fun of him for this and ask him when he's leaving.
