Hey, friends! Activity is over and removes have been handled! Kit, the goddess that she is, updated the mod journal and gdocs so they're all current.

Here's just a rundown of events happening in April. As always, if you'd like any plots or events added, please let us know!

1 ∇ ANNUAL EASTER HUNT. Taking place the Saturday before Easter at the town hall and open for children up to age 12. Take pictures with the Easter bunny and search for the eggs (plastic and filled with candy!) that have been hidden around the grounds. In case of bad weather, the hunt is brought inside the building.
2 ∇ Margaret and Rupert Shield's birthdays.
2 ∇ LAST DAY OF SPRING BREAK. Applicable to all schools.
4 ∇ Aleida Grant's birthday.
7 ∇ Baby shower for Alee!
12 ∇ Bea Hyland's birthday.
14 ∇ Quincy Sparks's birthday.
14-15 ∇ SPRING MUSICAL. It's time for the students to show off their hard work as they've prepared the spring musical, Wicked.
16 ∇ No school for public and private schools.
28 ∇ SPRING TOWN CLEANUP DAY. The last Saturday of April, starting at 9AM and going until midnight. Town employees and residential volunteers alike meet at the town hall and are divided into different groups and all have different tasks to help clean up the town to get ready for spring and summer. Lunch and dinner are provided at the town hall for all those who participate.
30 ∇ Grace Rojas's birthday.

HI FRIENDS

this is david harris, aka t'challa. david's the music teacher at aurelius since 2016! he got the job in part because of his awesome aunt, mayor cecelia reed. (hi, lil cousin josie!)

originally from atlanta, his father is a big time baptist preacher, and david is the firstborn son, so there were a lot of expectations on his shoulders growing up. much to his parents' dismay, david didn't really connect to the church like they wanted (his dad really wanted him to go to seminary... lol). he DID discover his passion for music there (and on the streets of atlanta), however, so that's something. much like his counterpart, david is pretty smart and ambitious, so he got into an early college program at bard, and then transferred to howard university after a couple years, where he did his bachelor's in music and master's in music education. then he bummed around dc and surrounding areas for a bit, trying to be a musician, before getting a job as a teacher. then a couple years ago, he knocked a girl up! uh oh. the relationship ended, but obviously he wanted to be around for his son. he ended up getting the job at aurelius to be closer to his kid, and because it was offering more money (and boy, kids aren't cheap). he kind of feels like a sell-out for teaching rich kids, but he compensates by trying to enlighten them and open their minds so they don't grow up into rich trump supporters lol.

anyway, there's more here! idk how i ended up with two teachers in the arts~ lmao. HE NEEDS FRIENDS! he's 30. if there are ever open-mic nights and whatnot, he'll probably sign up, so you might've seen him play some original jazz on the piano or cover songs, or rap -- he has pretty diverse interests.
