I don't usually post publicly about this dream stuff, but I'm just...curious. How many of you find a large amount of similarities between yourself and your dream self, and how many of you find that you're completely different from the person you dream of?

I can't decide which one is worse. I'm...very similar to my person, even things that happened long before I started dreaming of him seem to have an echo in these dreams. tbh sometimes it kind of reminds me of that movie Us, like we're tethered to one another, and what happens to one happens to the other in at least some capacity. Only, luckily neither world is a dark underground bunker and also I don't think my dream-self is capable of murdering me or vice-versa. Anyway. Sometimes it sucks, but then I was also thinking it probably sucks to dream of someone really different, too, especially if they were like...a bad guy, or something.

Anyway. I guess I'm just kind of wondering what other people experience on this front.

Oh, it's not really that big of a deal. I'm kind of embarrassed it's bothering me so much, but I had another dream last night and discovered we both had...major relationships both end in the same bad sort of way. How they ended wasn't even like...that unique of circumstances, really, but it just all kind of adds up after awhile. I don't know. Some things that happen really are extremely different, but how he feels about things in general...that really strikes a chord.

I don't think it's unreasonable to feel however you feel about it, and being reminded of those feelings can't be easy. So you never have to downplay these sorts of things with me. You feel however you feel.

	How long was that? I mean...it did kind of suck. We were friends for a long time first before we dated, and I think that made it hurt worse. Idk, maybe we could we just hang out or something. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Not very. It was shortly after that party, once I stopped feeling disappointed? I realized it was silly because you're actually a pretty nice guy who I don't think would intentionally hurt someone's feelings. For Sydney, it's a lot more complicated, but I can feel that she knows Adrian's a good guy, too, who wouldn't hurt anyone, but it's at odds with everything she's been taught about vampires. So I think it says a lot that she still recognizes that.

That does suck and I'm sorry you lost more than the relationship you were invested in.

I would like that. You name it, we'll do it. 🙂
