[SIGH. She takes a second to pull her hair out of her face before tinkering with the tablet. Ring, ring on Skype until he accepts the call, and the tablet is propped up on a couple of pillows. When he answers, she's smiling. Tired, but smiling in her dimly-lit bedroom. She's sitting on her bed, cross-legged and exhausted. Purple under her eyes, blonde hair a mess in her ponytail, in her underwear, dinosaur knee highs and one of the countless t-shirts she's commandeered. But, she makes sure to smile when he pops up on the screen. With an eyebrow wiggle:] Why haven't we Skype-sexed before?

[Her smile softens to something more genuine when she sees the photos, but that's quickly lost to an eyeroll of epic proportions. Still, she wiggles her socked toes at the camera.] Oh, yeah, because your dog laying a foot away from me really gets me in the mood. [She leans forward, turns the tablet around briefly to show Matilda curled up on the foot of her bed before bringing it back to rest.] Aren't you gonna get in trouble for this?

Back to Stephanie:] Oh, the doctors are always listening in, but Leland's prepping me for the outside world. So chatting on my tablet is a thing I can get away with. In a week they're going to let me visit my church.

I don't like to acknowledge that we've probably damaged her poor puppy psyche. [Stephanie sticks her tongue out at him.] The others must be jealous. Big man on campus and all. [But, she smiles again.] Good, they'll be happy to see you. Father Michael's called me now and then to check in. He expects you for confession, I think, and then fish fry. Or to take some of the casseroles they've been making.
