Summary: Josie at work
Josie took her job as the Assistant to the Training Instructors very, very seriously. She always arrived to class early, and stayed late as necessary. She did as she was told, and tried her very best to be help to the students and Facility Faculty. She could even be considered 'Teacher's Pet.'
And today, she was taking that role quite literally. While this particular instructor droned on about the differences between land mammal and human physiology, Josie paced the room quietly in her fox form. Her fluffy tail swayed gently and the only sound she made with the very faint tapping of her claws on the linoleum floor as she tread lightly. Most of the class members were paying attention to the teacher and some took notes. Both those with any sense were bored silly and instead watched Josie, looked out the window, or daydreamed. Despite the unusual circumstances, this class wasn't really all that different than some others elsewhere.
Josie finally settled down and curled into a little ball beside the teacher's desk and rested her chin on her front paws. She was trying to avoid dozing off, but shifting from one form to another was kind of tiring. She was just about to close her eyes when something across the room made an indistinct sound. Ears twitched and pointed forward as she perked her head up in curiosoity. Something caught her eye, and she sniffed at the air, trying to catch a scent. Almost instinctually, she immediately dashed off in swift chase, weaving in between desks and legs and bags with smooth agility. It didn't occur to her that this might be disruptive, or that it might actually be a class demonstration by the Instructor. All she knew in the moment is that there was something over there and she needed to get it now, vite, vite.
