Who: Cadell Warrington & Charmaine Crouch
What: An interview for the Daily Prophet.
When: February 5, 2000; Early Evening
Where: Dwfr Du
Rating: PG-13 at most.
Status: Incomplete

After her interview with Minister Shacklebolt and Seer Nesta Charmaine had compiled a list of people to interview, one of them was Cadell Warrington, a newly made Auror. Normally someone in his position would be of little consequence, but he had many things going for him. One thing was that he had formerly been in the Inquisitorial Squad and another was his willing participation in the project which listed him not on the list of Other Inquisitorial Squad members and Death Eaters, but as a member of society. Those two things made him a person of interest. So she appeared at his home undisguised since this had nothing to do with her recruitment.

She knocked on the door and waited in her ever patient way. Before coming she had done a bit of asking around and had learned of his rather rough nature, especially when it came to women. Thankfully she had met his kind before and so knew how to handle him. One perk of sharing relations with the Black family who seemed to be related to just about everyone in Wizarding Europe was that she had been exposed to all types. It also gave her quite a few useful connections.

Who: Charmaine Crouch & Christian Avery
What: Avery has a new 'mentor'.
When: January 20, 2000; Afternoon
Where: La Roche Noir
Rating: PG-13
Status: Complete

Charmain approached the Manor house that was the home of Christian Avery with a determined air. She was upset with Stan Shunpike for allowing himself to be duped so easily, but she was more upset with herself. She should have known better. That situation, though, could be remedied. She wore a sensible outfit, a black skirt which fell her her ankles, a black over robe and matching shoes with a pale gold blouse beneath the robe. Her hair, while usually was quite noticeably red, was currently blonde. Unlike most redheads she actually had a complexion which did not make blonde hair look horrid.

There was a reason for this blonde hair, and a good one at that. Anyone who walked by and saw her entering the house all they would be able to say was that a blonde woman was visiting Christian Avery instead that Charmain Crouch, the reporter, was visiting a known Death Eater. Once she was at the door she knocked and waited for the door to be answered. She knew she would be expected for she had given no notice.

"Hello, Mister Avery," she said once the door opened and the man she was seeking appeared on the other side of the door. "I am here on behalf of Stanley Shunpike."

Happy Birthday Kingsley!

Who: Everyone!
What: It is Kingsley's thirty-fifth birthday (tomorrow) and everyone is to celebrate!
When: January 11th; 8:00pm - 1:30am.
Where: Minister's Manor; Ballroom. (First Floor open only, no one allowed beyond.)
Rating: PG-13
Status: Incomplete

The ballroom was impressive and rather large. Looking from the outside of the Manor one would not think a room of this size would fit, but thanks to magic it did. Just off to the left was the area reserved for dining. The decorations were simple but elegant and as feminine in nature as his two over-zealous advisers could get away with. On the right side of the ballroom there were a number of overly large french doors which opened on a courtyard decked out for the winter weather and spelled so that the temperature would be comfortable to walk in without a cloak but yet would not melt the snow.

This time Kingsley had been able to doge the job of greeting guests, instead he was in the rather big ballroom. He smiled and greeted the people who came up to him, congratulating him on his birthday. He would have been much happier with a small family gathering, but he would have to wait for tomorrow night when he would have dinner with them. When he was alone once more he shifted a bit, yet again uncomfortable. The outfit was nothing more than normal, he was use to wearing suits, but the shoes. He hated new shoes. He had not been allowed to break them in properly and could already feel the blisters forming.
